I visit monthly, even without the kids

Great local zoo! I have an annual membership for me and my kids, and will renew as long as I live here. It's not as large or as exotically stocked as the Philadelphia Zoo (I... read more

So many things to see here plus zip lines and so many activities for kids. This zoo far out-ways the Philadelphia Zoo!

Elmwood Park Zoo is a wonderful small zoo tucked away along a creek in Norristown. They have many interesting animals and exhibits, as well as special programming year round. The staff is caring and knowledgeable with many hands on things for children to experience. As a teacher in Norristown for 34 years, we would always make an annual field trip... More

Just the right size for younger kids. Plenty of familiar animals including a petting area. They sven have a playground.

We won free tickets to this zoo, which is the only reason we drove an hour and a half to visit it. On a normal day, we would not drive so far to visit this zoo and probably won't visit again. It was nice. Small. It would be good for small children. There are lots of play areas for kids.... More

Great local zoo! I have an annual membership for me and my kids, and will renew as long as I live here. It's not as large or as exotically stocked as the Philadelphia Zoo (I miss the Rhinos), but it's also very friendly and not as crowded with lots more fun events. And if you just want to spend a... The success of this zoo is a tribute to the donors and volunteers who have worked to improve its displays and the condition of its animals in recent years. I take my grandchildren there whenever I can and am rewarded with their wonder.

For years it has been a great small town zoo to all who visit. The animals are well cared for and are representative of a good cross section.

Great little zoo. We have zoo membership and makes it very much affordable. Great place to go for a few hours to see some animals in their habitat.
