Elmwood Park Zoo is a great place to spend a few hours in a relaxing environment where you can see a variety of animals while strolling around. Giraffes and Zebras hang out together in one area while primates are in another and a super avian area in yet another area. There is a picnic area available which can be rented... More

I feel so lucky to have such an amazing zoo in my neighborhood. It may be small compared to other's but it s huge with all that it contains. You can spend a lit or a little bit of time. Plenty of parking too. Love Elmwood Park Zoo

I came here with few expectations and was pleasantly surprised of how well kept this zoo is and with the variety of animals. This is a nice place for children of all ages to visit.

For those who have never visited Norristown, PA, treat yourself. It's located less than 30 minutes outside of Philly. The Elmwood Zoo may be the smallest zoo we have ever visited but the staff and animals are extremely friendly. The cost is cheap and some days it's free. Plenty of parking and a diverse food community nearby.

I traveled with my 2 children (4 & 6). It is a very small zoo. Not much to see. My kids loved feeding the bison and giraffes. We wanted to do the zip lining but the line was ridiculous! There is no time limit on the course so you have to wait in line until someone else comes out before... More

In reading some of the reviews posted here that praised this place, you would think this zoo was in San Diego or New York City. It's not even close. But that's not a fair comparison considering Elmwood Park Zoo is a very, very (and I mean VERY) small zoo. So I'll stick to what we experienced today. It's pretty awful.... More

I took our two daughters to the Elmwood Park Zoo on Saturday 4/15/17. We recently became members of the zoo and got a family membership. This is a small zoo located in Norristown and a short drive from the Pennsylvania turnpike at the Norristown exit. You would get off on Plymouth Road and follow signs to the zoo. Admission prices... This little hidden Jen in Norristown is one of the best zoo' s to visit. I buy the family season pass and use it at least 6 times a year. They always have something going on. If you use the pass twice you have got your money back. You can also use the pass at other zoo's and get a... More

Although my 9 year old granddaughter who had been here before felt that it was now "too young" for her, the zoo is easily accessed and likely holds appeal for the preschool set.

This zoo is awful! The animals are alone in small cages. The others have signs saying "under vet care". They were doing construction and it was unbearable. The animals are depressed!!! The saddest day!! Does not support this zoo - it is nothing but a money making side show!!
