The train ride is about 45 minutes. We rode in the open air car which was very comfortable, even on a hot day. The scenery is ok, not too exciting. You follow a small creek for a time. The train goes out and back the same track. It might be a bit over priced.

Thank you for your candid feedback. We appreciate any comments from our riders and always use them to improve our services. We believe are costs are comparable to other excursions in the area and if you rode the hourly excursion it is a scenic 45-minute ride through the Bucks County countryside, we do have other excursions that are longer and... The train ride was relaxing but a little boring with very little to see. Seemed a little pricey too but everything in this area is - especially parking. The man selling the tickets needs to find a new job as he certainly didn't seem to enjoy his...not personable at all!

My wife and I took the train ride and just enjoyed the experience. If you expect a exciting roller coaster ride you will be disappointed. Sit back enjoy the views and turn off your cell phone for 45 minutes!

It was a 45 minute round trip. It was a very hot and humid day so we rode in the first class air conditioned car, where one could also get cold drinks. The conductor was very pleasant. We were the only ones on the car, so he pretty much let us enjoy the ride and said we could ask any... More

The train ride was pleasant but there really wasn't much to see. We sat in the "outdoor" cart, which allowed for a nice breeze. The indoor cart was terribly stuffy with windows open and some fans. We didn't walk through the Parlor Cart, which might have had AC. The conductor was friendly and happily answered questions. The staffer who offered... More

For train buffs step aboard a lovingly restored train and take a short ride into history. The ride is about 45 minutes long and rides through some pretty countryside. The conductor narrates the trip along the way. Very pleasant.

I noticed that this railroad most often runs a steam train while others have switched to diesel. This alone is worth the trip to all railroad buffs. The price is reasonable.and there is alot to do while waiting for the train to come. They also run Holiday trains such as Santa and Bunny trains/

If you are fond of train rides this is a nice one. If steam is a requisite, do call before going as the steam engine(s) often seem out of service. It is authentic and you see some beautiful parts of Bucks County. Take your wallet though as it is expensive. Oh they also have seasonal experiences. The Santa train is... More

We rode in the open-air car for the 45 minute trip. The railroad station and the train are very well kept and very nice. There website boasts riding through the beautiful Bucks County countryside. It is really a ride through wooded areas. It was relaxing but pricey.

Thanks for your feedback and we are glad your enjoyed your train ride! The Bucks County scenery changes with each season, most of the time you can enjoy the beautiful flowers and in the fall the changing of the leaves while you ride the countryside. We hope you come back again soon and ride one of our other excursions! More
