Great place to go if you'd like to kayak around a nice lake. Not anything extraordinary but we spent a very nice day there . Follow the road signs to get there, or put in precise address of what you want to visit -- in our case the boathouse.

We didn't walk a the whole area but it's very beautiful and the lake was busy which was fun to watch. Benches around the walk and all paved. Many bikers were on the trail also. Great relaxation area with a picnic grove and playground also.

The day was hot and humid so the seven of us started at the visitors center. Kids loved it and our son saw a hummingbird moth for the first time. Then we headed down to the bridge looking for turtles or snakes or whatever and saw three Great Blue Herons. We then walked up to the nature path to the left and hiked down to the stream. We were a little disappointed that you can no longer cross there. But the rocks and stream were fun. We hiked back and drove up to Tabora Farms where everyone chose a lunch from the deli and then back down to the park where we picnicked at the pavilion. Great location next to a play area and bathrooms. Amazing breeze off the lake made for a very pleasant time. Awesome day! Awesome park. Everyone loved it.

Wow factor, Getting back to nature, and de-stressing the daily rat/race, is what this wonderful lake will do! The entire lake has a paved walking/bicycling trail And is very romantic for new couples to enjoy 😉 talking and walking, all while soaking up the gorgeous waterfront lake. Impress your date, and BBQ around the lake, rent a kayak, and explore the lakes quite coves and grassy meadows, so come and enjoy discover this peaceful lake so close to historic Doylestown Pennsylvania

A beautiful 6+ mile run/walk/ride is only minutes from downtown Doylestown. The scenery is beautiful, even the lake can be used for boating, kayaking and fishing.
