Best. Tourist. Activity. Ever

It is closed due to the water level being so low, I wish this would have been mentioned on their website, since we took a trip there to ride on the ferry and found out it was closed once we were there.

I had bored my hunny with stories of the ferry for years, and she humored me with feigned interest, but when she experienced it her jaw went slack. It is the most unique tourist activity you will find. When the ferry is across the river looking east from the campground side, you can call it by opening a door hinged... More

A great, peaceful, relaxing, ride. This was fun&also informative.Surprised water was only maybe 3 ft deep at the most. One fellow on ride said they walked across the river before. We arrived perfectly, within 10 minutes we were underway,we stayed on the boat and returned. The whole trip was maybe 45 minutes if that. Would be a nice experience for anyone. Captain was very cordial.

Wonderful addition to the community. Don't miss this with or without your car. Ice cream at the store on campground or at Williams French fry on the other side.

We decided to rent a really nice motorcycle and take a ride to anywhere. Found the Millersburg Ferry ... and took a ride to the other side with the bike on board. Fun, relaxing, the crew was great..you could tell they loved their job, and did it well. On the other side of the river is a campground where the... More

I live in the area and still take ferry rides every summer. It is a relaxing trip across the river. There is a campground to stay at with activities to do there also. Check it out!!!

This is the antique paddlewheel boats we have that travel from Millersburg, Pa to the camp ground on the other side of the river and back.

This is a spectacular way to view the Susquehanna River. It get you at a high-level with the river and you can see the birds the turtles and the fish. This is an ideal way to spend a lazy afternoon in the summer.

I'm usually much more chatty in my reviews, and even come up with better review titles. But I pretty much can't say anything that hasn't already been said here. This is a must-do 5 star attraction! Went over on a beautiful Saturday afternoon with my Subaru Forester, and paid $11 one way.

When on route 322 going north from Harrisburg, we cross the Susquehanna River on the Clark's Ferry Bridge. If we have time and the weather is nice we drive north to Millersburg and cross the river on a ferry instead of a bridge. In Millersburg the ferry landing is in the riverfront park. On the west side from Route 11/15,... More
