Fallingwater is truly an eighth wonder of the world. Everyone should experience and see it for themselves. I am so glad that this place, where nature and art and architecture meet has been preserved and available to be seen by everyone. Our tour was led...More

I am certain that I can't add anything that hasn't already been said about Falling Water. However, I have visited Taliesin and Taliesin West and am always impressed with Wright's creativity, vision and attention to detail. There are extraordinary art works to be seen including...More

We are on business trip in Pittsburgh and on our way back to New York we made a detour to stop by the Fallingwater. It is a little out of the way and tickets are little pricey but we had a good memory. It is...More

I enjoyed this unique house more than I expected. It is after all Frank Lloyd Wright's most famously designed house, over a water fall and into boulders. Glass everywhere not to obscure the one with nature view. Expensive admission but worth it. They cannot wheelchairs...More

100 of our group came to view this historic piece of architecture. It costs $33 each for admission = high. We found most of the staff to be aloof ...on the edge of being rude. The exception was our docent/guide, Edward F. He was very...More

We chose the 1 hour tour. When I return I will do the 2 hour tour. It was a spectacular experience. I enjoyed the food in the "cafe". I liked the open layout of the visitors center. The walk to the house was great, 5...More

I booked an In-Depth tour in the early morning a long time in advance in order to fit in with my very tight US trip itinerary. Totally worth the early rise and having to find accommodation nearby. This place is so well organised that it's...More

Stunning location - wooded and over a creek. House is starting to feel sterile. I'd say dated, but that is the point. Can't help but imagine how awesome it could be using today's methods. Nice that it is without the usual museum velvet ropes. Can't...More

We are traveling from Philly to Pittsburgh very short in time, but we would love to check this House out. We don't have time to take a tour though. Can anyone tell us if we can see the house from outside? At least to take a few pictures?

Yes. You can purchase a grounds pass for $10 per person which provides you access to the grounds, down and around the house and the iconic view along with some nature trails. Grounds passes are first-come-first serve.

I still don't understand why it's so ex pensive. I've toured many houses that cost only a fraction of that. It must be a fabulous cocktail to cost that much. Am I missing something?

I understand it's $130 per person, which I think is a lot of money.. I don't understand why it's so expensive. Do you think it was worth it?
