Love just about everything about this place! It is a great place to explore (though I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who isn't ready to do a steep hill or two). The grounds are great to take a stroll through, and the home is stunning. Wish they did more tours and events!

Great tour. Made me want to read more about the former residents of Grey Towers, especially Gifford #1. Make sure you check out the video. Tour guide very knowledgeable. A must if in the area.

Had a girls' day out with two friends; we decided to check out Grey Towers. It is located atop acres of beautifully landscaped property. If you like taking nature and landscape pictures, this is a great place. The property is well kept and peaceful. It's calming just to walk around. House tours start on the half hour. The tour is... Went here yesterday with my husband, the mansion was gorgeous, the grounds are gorgeous!!!!! The staff was very knowledgeable. We did the 4:00 and were able to see all three floors. Saturday and Sunday 4:00 tours are the only tours that allow all three floors to be shown(well that is what we were told.) The view was so pretty.

Only downside is it is a bit out of the way. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Try and do the 4 pm tour has more on it. Tracy was our guide and she was very knowledgeable, humorous, and was able to control a large group. Fascinating history of the Pinchot family we fell in love with Cornelius. Tree trail... More

We really enjoyed the visit. The Castle history was interesting and the grounds were beautiful. They are using the upper level floors for business meetings! That would be worth doing.

The sights were beautiful and breathtaking. There was space to sit in the grounds and reflect. I wanted to stay. i wish there were more benches under trees to ward off from the sun's heat. Nevertheless, it was beautiful!!
