Amazing Font

If you like old churches you will love this one with a very old lead font with its weighted cover. Great surroundings with the old Thames Barge moored on the creek .

BEAUTIFUL OLD CHURCH AND WELLL MAINTAINED CHURCHYARD
Oct 2017 • Couples
Very unfortunately when we visited there was not a service on the Sunday here as my husband remembered the church from when he used to stay with his grandparents. Some time ago I saw inside the church and it is similar to other churches of this size having a great sense of peace and history.

ancient church with so much character

Halstow church is a real gem. You can see the roman tiles in its 8th century construction. Huddled against the village creek you get a real sense of history. The middle ages graffiti is fun, the norman font a real find - and WWI history buffs will love the main stain glassed window

The most welcoming church EVER
Aug 2014 • Friends
Such wonderful, friendly people use this church and have made us so welcome. My daughter got married here on August 23rd and it was one of the best moments of my life. Everybody is still talking about how lovely the ceremony was; Reverend Jackie made it so personal and everything was so relaxed and fun. I feel so lucky to have found this inspirational church.
