We two travelers were on a search for cheese and charcuterie and wine for a simple platter for dinner. On a whim, we turned into these set of shops. We found an awesome winery with a very informative lady, a huge chocolate and candy shop, and a market with some AMAZING cheeses and even serrano ham. We nearly skipped out of the shops, so pleased with our finds. What a perfect set of shops!

What an incredible place to visit! The Brickerville house surpassed our every expectation! The restaurant was exceptional, from the incredible food to the superb service!
And speaking of food.... the Lancaster Specialty Market is an absolute delight! The products available are truly outstanding and the customer service was amazing! The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly!
Hands down and without hesitation I recommend this wonderful group of shops and restaurant as a must go destination that we are fortunate to visit on a regular basis. This is our favorite place to go!!

The Brickerville House Specialty Shops are a unique collection of 13 shops that surround a courtyard adjacent to the Brickerville House Restaurant. They are located about a scenic 5 mile ride north of Lititz.
We visited early on the Friday before Valentine's weekend and some of the shops had not yet opened. The weather was cold and the landscaping had that dull winter look, but I can imagine the courtyard and surrounding areas looking quite attractive during spring, summer and fall.
There are 13 shops here such as home decor, antiques, glass shop, photography shop and textile store. Also included are Wertz candies,a nice specialty grocery/deli that was quite busy and a winery.

This shopping center is kind of "hidden" so I had never ventured there after living in the area for almost 20 years. Once we found it and looked around we really enjoyed the little shops with very friendly people. It was during a week day and a lot of the shops weren't open, which was disappointing. But the ones that were open were nice, but they all had the same kind of inventory. Maybe if the others were open there would have been more variety. Cute gift shops, though.

This place is unique in that it's located at a busy intersection of two highways yet when you're sitting on a bench in the middle of the complex, it's peaceful and quiet! The variety of shops are antiques, fragile knick knacks, an awesome candy store (spent way too much money there), clothing/gift store, hair salon, winery..I think that's it. Honestly, the best part is the ambiance. The landscaping is gorgeous. My wife went for a ladies day with her mom and grandmother and they had a really nice time.

Very enjoyable diverse shopping to enjoy. Several shops and lots of antiques. My only disappointment is that the Specialty Market that was here when we visited in past year closed and is now a hair salon. Being almost 70 and almost bald that is not a high priority for me, but I am sure they do a great job.

My husband and eat breakfast every weekend at the Brickerville House restaurant, where the selection and service is tremendous and then we spend time hitting the shops. Every one has unique offerings from gourmet food items at Lancasters Specialty Market, chocolate and candy at Wertz, clothing and home decor at A Touch of Taste, jewelry at Vintage Jewelry Design and pottery at the Artists Attic. There is also an antique barn as well as repurposed furniture and glassware and even wine! The shops are under cover by a wrap around porch so weather is not a factor and the courtyard is gloriously planted during the season. You may go in to each shop a stranger but I guarantee that you will leave as a friend. I highly recommend this gem of an attraction!
