Every time my wife & I are visiting relatives near Reading PA we make a point to stop at this store. They have the best I've eaten that's made in the US. We always load up on their chocolates as we're not sure when we'll be back (we try at least every year).

Wilbur's has been in operation for quite awhile. They have a museum inside, free samples, and an abundance of candy to purchase. The town smells like chocolate as you near the factory, and Wilbur's does not disappoint on quality or taste.

Wilbur's has been around forever or so it seems. My mother , born 1910! told us stories about her father giving her and her sister treats of Wilbur buds when they were good girls. back in the 1920s. My memory of Wilbur's is much more current but spending 4 years in Lancaster going to college and then doing consulting work... More

I love Wilbur Buds....my Godmother Always had them in her candy dish. Sorry Hershey, they are better than Kisses! A nice museum with tons of chocolate molds and equipment to view. Then there is the candy...just indulge in the choices!

Took my kids to their last Saturday of the month event where we made a chocolate dog. It was cute and the kids loved it! This is such a unique store/museum! Definitely worth a visit! Bet you can't leave without trying a sample Wilbur bud or buying a unique chocolate confection!

We've stopped there a number of times over the years. Their products are always high quality and fresh. They are competitively priced. The staff is always friendly and pleasant.

Whatever you do, don't get near the door of this nay-nay place. Every time we've been there, the fumes have cost us plenty! There are no drugs that can compare to just breathing the air in Lititz near this terrible place. No matter how much we bought on each trip, amazingly, on our trip back home to Charleston, SC, a... This is the end of an era for the Wilbur Chocolate Company. The company was established in 1865, but this factory closed in Jan, 2016. (There are still 5 more factories elsewhere.) In October, they will vacate this old brick building and move their store across the street to a new building. They offer an up-close look at candy making... More
