This art deco theater is a throwback to another era. It is quite the experience to see a movie (typically an older movie) in the grand surroundings. Our movie, a 50 year old Alice's Restaurant campy movie actually broke down around the mid way point. Somehow, rather than ruin our evening, it actually enhanced the experience, especially for those of us old enough to remember theaters with multiple projectors and noticeable transitions between reels of film.

Great nostalgic theatre. Reasonably priced. A movie at a beautiful theatre from yesteryear is a real treat

This is a gem in Lewisburg. It is one of the few single screen art deco theatre's left in the country. Were else would you get to sit on a couch, drink a pint and watch excellent movies (other than your home).

A beautiful, well-restored movie theater, and a great place to enjoy a flick. Much classier than the standard mall theaters.

The Campus Theatre does not boast itself on being one of the mega theatres as you find in malls. Instead, it is an iconic ode to the past when theatres were dressed in all the finery of ones in the past. Lavish decor and comfy seating abide here along with a a little nostalgia felt the moment you step inside. It is a charming little theatre that fits right in with the community that surrounds and supports it. Here you'll find modern day films and films that pay homage to the past. They also play host to a number of local and community events.

For a baby boomer like myself, this theater is a trip down memory lane. The "mall theaters" have their place, but it is wonderful to be able to watch a movie like we did in our younger years. If you haven't been here, you should check it out. Kudos to Bucknell University for keeping this historic place alive.

Great single screen, Art Deco historic theater. Great films, high quality screen and sound. Highly recommend this place on Market Street in downtown Lewisburg. Check out their website for movies and events.

The campus is an area gem. The regular showings of recent films, old classics, and the regular artsy offerings - mean there’s always something worth watching. The ambiance and decor of a restored Art Deco theatre make you feel transported to a magical place and time. Also- the acoustics are excellent and I’ve see several music shows that have been high quality. If you’re in town or live nearby - it’s worth catching a show here.

My wife and I caught a 5 o'clock showing of Bohemian Rhapsody. Thoroughly good experience.

The theater itself is a masterpiece of restoration. I've been in fancier art deco buildings but the decor, while perhaps tamer than some, enhanced the atmosphere.

The non-profit that restored and that manages the theater has had the good taste to invest in fine projecrion and sound technology, so even a show that's as depended on audio as this Queen biopic was presented to the highest standards.

Their staff is first-rate friendly and professional, and the ticket prices are low!

A great place to visit/

This is one beautiful movie theater in the heart of a charming town. The ambience is incredible. We have seen everything from new blockbusters to old classical films. It's perfectly placed in the center of town to shop before the movies or have dinner at Elizabeth's.
