Rented a cabin for a week and had a fabulous time! Cabin was very clean, cozy and private. Will definitely return if we are in the area again. Staff was super friendly and made our late arrival easy easy and hassle free.

We live close enough that we get to enjoy this park often. We love taking our pool rafts and floating the day away!! Sundays are very crowded, we tend to go on week days. Summer camps sometimes come during the week to swim. Snack bar is a little pricey. We usually pack our lunch!

We have visited this state park anx camped there for over 25 years. We started in a pop-up camper with two small children. We enjoy the nature programs and center. This state park is well ran and has developed over the year to host tent camper to large RVS. A lots to do it park as well as in local... More

I have camped here with my family in the past, this time I camped in the group camping area with my Girl Scout troop. This park is very clean, and while the restrooms/shower buildings could use an update, they are clean and functioning. There are many easy trails to walk/hike with 9-11 year olds. The beach and lake are a... More

Had a great day fishing at the lake. Caught a few bluegills and a couple of large mouth bass. Lure hit the water and was taken by a 14 inch bass.

Pros: so many outdoor activities - beach, lake, kayaking, hiking, playground Cons: site 121 was disgusting. Table was rotted and covered with moss. Way too many roots and trees stumps. Beer bottle caps everywhere. We had to clean before we could set up. Shower drains didn't work.

The kids ask to go all summer long. Beach area is never crowded and has trees for shade. The snack stand has very limited hours so bring your picnic basket.

Really clean and well kept state park with plenty of day use areas as well as camping. This is a really nice place to go for swimming as well as hiking and fishing. Very clean bathrooms and a nice snack shack near the swimming area. They have a designated roped off area for swimming so it is very family friendly.... More

We always make sure to make reservations for at least 2 different stays here per summer. We always have been able to get our favorite site which is nicely wooded and right up to the lake. We get to hear the bullfrogs at night and the birds in the morning. We have never had problems with the bathhouses. There is... More
