All the rain we had early in the summer, coupled with the hot weather has left some of the fairways in pretty poor shape. Course was challenging with some very difficult holes. Greens were in great shape, only negative as a first time player at this course is the holes are not well marked. Price is very reasonable for seniors during the week.…

I play Royal Oaks twice a year. I'd certainly play more often but it's a bit far from home. I find the course to be well managed, and well maintained. The staff is accommodating and pleasant and it's an excellent value for what they charge for greens fees.

The course was in decent shape but not that interesting. The front nine seemed to be in better shape than the back. The food at the snack bar was very good and the girl very friendly and fast.

Played here in mid August and the course conditions were not the best. Thinking it had to do with some recent rains we gave the course a go again in late August and it was worse. The fairways are brown in spots and the grass is dead. Greens have different speeds so you cannot get a feel for putting and the tee boxes are tore up. They need to spend the fall getting the course ready for winter and hopefully it bounces back next spring.…
