Sorry, Freddy Hill, but Merrymead gets my vote. Their ice cream is richer, not so sweet. There's also this funny story that my Dad used to tell about piles built from mucked out barns visible only from high above, but I digress... Keep up the good work, Merrymead!

We love touring the farm and seeing all the animals!! Fun for all ages! We've been coming here since I was little and we never get tired of coming back. Great memories here! There is also an animal petting station and a place to wash hands afterwards. The chocolate raspberry chip ice cream is one of our favorites!!

Merrymead is a great place for Ice Cream and taking children to see this working farm in action. Also fresh local produce is available and the only place my wife will buy corn from. The Corn Maze draws large crowds every Fall.

Great ice cream, other local favorites like meats, baked goods, nuts and candy making supplies. Nice little area to walk with the kids and visit with the farm animals, hand washing station to be safe, and recently added, a little stand offering hot dogs and similar snacks. There's a little shop that sometimes offers produce, and also offers some gift... More

Merrymead has a charming village store and ice cream shop. In the fall, they have an awesome fall fest with vast selection of pumpkins, a relaxing hay ride, a fun corn maze for kids and a bigger one for kids, face-painting, and other kid-friendly fall activities during all weekends in October.

A perennial local favorite. Great home-made ice cream. Local flowers in the spring, pumpkins in the fall along with a corn maze. Kids love it. Parking lot is jammed in the fall attesting to its popularity.

If you're looking for a farm that's more than just show, then this is the place. They have an awesome little store with homemade milk and ice cream, and the flowers there are top notch. Clean, friendly, just a great place to hang with the kids.

We came here with our 15 month old daughter for her first pumpkin patch visit! This was the weekend after Hurricane Matthew rolled through, so it seems like EVERYONE was here making up for the lost weekend! Even with the crowds, we had a great time looking at the farm animals and the nice displays they had set up. The... More

Our family loves coming here for fall activities, or anytime we want sweet treats! The staff is friendly and prices are reasonable! We make it every year for harvest activities and fun!

I can only review what I am familiar with - Merrymead Farm pies. I buy pies there for all major holiday. You can pre-order, or take your chances with what they may have available. Their berry pie (actually all the fruit pies) is fantastic. Try the peach crumble (not on their pie order list) - recommended by an employee -... More
