I needed to buy a gift for my mother in law and thought some chocolates would be a good idea. Miesse chocolates (we loved the milk chocolate/salted caramel candies) are DELICIOUS!!!! The prices are very reasonable too. My MIL also loved them.

This is a small, family run business snuggled in between other retail on Water Street. The day we stopped in there was only the owner on site, but he was very helpful and patient with us. Unfortunately, tours must be scheduled 48 hours ahead of time (the brochure says call first, but we did not realize the lead time was... More

Store was very small. The chocolates were very good but if it isnt on your way to something else, it isn't really worth it.

On the First Friday in Lancaster, a lot of the businesses stay open later to accommodate the large crowds that come to the city. We made our first stop at the candy store. The counter girl was precious and sweet – just like the candy. Lots of choices and very reasonably priced. We will be back!

After not finding the factory with the old address, I called and was given directions to the brand new location on Water Street in Lancaster. They literally had just opened and this day was the grad opening. The staff was very friendly and the choc is amazing. I asked if they had bacon flavored chocolate and even though it was... More

We had a hard time finding this place. We were using our GPS, but it was still tricky. Ended up calling and getting directions from the staff. It looks like its down an alley, but its actually a street. They are moving locations shortly, so the new location may be easier to find. When we were there they were not... More

If the local brochures are going to include an attraction that's closed on weekends and is very hard to find in a very low-rent neighborhood, they should at least say "closed Sat and Sun". This sounded like a good place to check out. But since Saturday was not the time to go there we can't comment on it except to... More

We arrived early because of a glitch in travel plans but were given the backscene tour by one of the chocolate makers and she was Great! very friendly and informative. We all enjoyed the tour of this smaller place and tasted some of the best chocolate around!!

We had a hard time finding this place even with GPS. When we did get there, we had to ring a door bell to get in. We entered into a small store with a glass case full of chocolate and shelves with more chocolate. The chocolates did taste really good.
