Jack Frost National is easily one the BEST golf courses in the Poconos. The only downfall is that the rates get a bit steep and some bunkers need a little more attention. BUT, it's definitely a course with many well designed holes, challenging greens, and views of both wildlife and nature abound throughout the round. I would recommend this course... More

Soft gentle rolling terrain. Go there to learn to ski and take it easy. Beat yourself up in the halfpipe or off one of the jumps for skiers and snowboarders alike. The cafeteria has a decent array of healthy and not so health choices but over all a great cafeteria style dining hall. Go there kick butt, take names and... More

Great place to get some extra nighttime runs in after a day at Jack Frost! One all day lift ticket gets you access to both mountains.

We traveled to Big Boulder for some snow tubing and although we are all over 50, we had a nice time. Please note that you must carry your snow tube on the conveyor belt to the top of the hill for you to slide down. This part we didn't like because it was very awkward and hard to handle holding... Basically the mountain skis well. It's a small mountain with some rather interesting fall-line trails. Terrain parks throughout. It has a consistent pitch top to bottom which eliminates that dreaded long run out. But these are my beefs. The place is seriously outdated. The place hasn't changed since the early eighties. The lifts are worn out, the lodge is almost... More

Man made snow created great conditions.Children were novices who learned a great deal from lessons. Others were experienced and still maintained conditions were good.

I am the type of person that researches my vacation thoroughly before arriving. There was nothing on Big Boulders website regarding a height or weight requirement for snow tubing. My children are 4 and small for their age, and I would never want them in jeopardy but please post all this information on your website. When we asked if Jack... More

Spent 5 days, Wednesday to Sunday to go skiing with the girls. We stayed in a time share condo in the Split Rock resort. The rooms were big and everything was clean and well kept. There was one day we couldn't ski so we went to the lodge and bowled, we could have seen a movie. We played ping pong... More
