Typical local farmers market

Lacks animal auction and places to eat, but has meat, produce, baked goods, auctions, and tombstones.

This place needs a good cleaning out and up! Some vendors are grumpy and some are expensive. The lunch place in the center of the market needs to get some good help and better service. Food needs to be warmer. Antique Market is only open on Saturday but signs do not indicate that. More junk then antiques. Reading Fairgrounds Market... More

Having never been to Renningers and being a farmers market afficionado, I was very much looking forward to our visit. We arrived arround 1PM and was greeted with the usual fried food, fresh meat, old stuff smell the minute we opened the door. I love that smell ! The Warden and I were both hungry, so our first order of... More

A few times a year Renninger's holds an extravaganza weekend. Antique and vintage dealers and sellers from all over the US come to sell their items. You name it, it will probably be there. While the inside market is open and free to browse, the outside extravaganza is admission only. Admission goes down each day. Dealers are very willing to... More

A very nice place with indoor and outdoor display areas. We arrived at 9 am and were there till 1 pm. There are bathrooms and tons of food vendors in the farmers market area.

I've heard so much about Renninger's that I wanted to check it out as I love flea markets and antiques. It was in the 80's that day. We walked into Renninger's and it felt like we had stepped into Hades. It was very, very hot. No A/C and no air stirring. Started sweating within minutes. My boyfriend had never seen... More

Now that my family is grown I purchase less food but I still enjoy a visit to Renningers. I buy food but walk through the antique and collectables section. We are lucky to have a market much like the European open markets where one can support the small business.

We go to the farmer's market at Renninger's every week, for vegetables, fresh chicken, eggs. The market is open Friday and Saturday. The antique section only on Saturday. I seldom walk down the antique area, unless it is rainy and I want to take a longer indoor walk. If you have never been here, it may be startling that you can... More
