Another nice beach in the area, would have been great for a sun bake on the sand but time didn't allow it, unfortunately

Visited the lighthouse then walked down to the beach, nice walk with great views out to the breakwater. On shore wind put on a great show with the waves breaking over the top of the rocks...a must see if you are staying in Yamba.

We went for a walk up to the lighthouse, then down a track on to the beach. Was a very pretty spot. We went for a long walk out on the breakwater which was popular. Highly reccommend it.

We visited Turners Beach early in the morning. It's a lovely open, flat beach just south of the river wall. There were a few surfers out, but otherwise, it was lovely and quiet.

A nice place to visit, walking around the fascinating rocks, foreshore and beach with the lighthouse above, I love all the different rock formations, car parking available. Nice place to have a picnic.

Safe beach which is patrolled during the warmer months. We preferred Yamba Main Beach (possibly more protected) but Turners Beach did offer gentle waves during our stay. There is an option to explore the breakwall which forms part of the beach boundary.

I'm just a novice body boarder, but I have loved Turners beach for its lovely, safe waves. Out the back you can watch the surfers catching some good waves, but closer in there are some lovely waves for the not so confident. One of my...More
