Visited the lighthouse then walked down to the beach, nice walk with great views out to the breakwater. On shore wind put on a great show with the waves breaking over the top of the rocks...a must see if you are staying in Yamba.

A nice place to visit, walking around the fascinating rocks, foreshore and beach with the lighthouse above, I love all the different rock formations, car parking available. Nice place to have a picnic.
Safe beach which is patrolled during the warmer months. We preferred Yamba Main Beach (possibly more protected) but Turners Beach did offer gentle waves during our stay. There is an option to explore the breakwall which forms part of the beach boundary.
I'm just a novice body boarder, but I have loved Turners beach for its lovely, safe waves. Out the back you can watch the surfers catching some good waves, but closer in there are some lovely waves for the not so confident. One of my...More
