We highly recommend Jim Thorpe Sidecar Tourz. My husband and I enjoyed a fun ride today with Geli and Adam. They were excellent drivers and guides and we loved seeing the beautiful countryside and the 100-mile overlook. We had originally booked a four-hour tour in October that we had to reschedule but the hour and a half tour was a great overview. We lucked out with perfect weather so everything went great. This is a must-do if you come to Jim Thorpe.

I cannot rave about Sidecar Tourz or Barb enough! Barb was a delight from the time she answered the phone to make my reservations to the end. She was extremely informative, professional, and most of all kind and compassionate.
I booked the 90 minute countryside tour for my mom. I was reluctant because my mom has mobility issues. Barb assures me that mom would be just fine and helped my mom in and out of the Sidecar without any issues.
My mom came home smiling ear to ear and had a blast. My mom enjoyed every stop along the way and said it was the fastest 90 minutes of her life! Barb seems like an old friend from the second you first speak with her. Mom loved every photo that Barb sent after the ride and will treasure them and the memory of this day! This is something we will do again when we are in the area!
PS. I just wanted to add that Barb was extremely professional when it comes to COVID-19 protocol. She had a mask on the entire time. Mom was given a hairnet as an added measure even though the helmet was cleaned. The bike is immaculate (and gorgeous, as If I needed to say) and hand sanitizer was provided as well!

My husband and I went on this tour and I highly recommend it. Barb and Geli were wonderful, polite, hilarious and absolutely enjoyed showing us around Jim Thorpe on their sidecars. It is a great way to explore and see wonderful places in Jim Thorpe. They also stopped at scenic locations and took plenty of photos for us. They shared so many wonderful stories about the town as well. The bikes were looking great and all the photos turned out amazingly beautiful! If you are ever in Jim Thorpe area, I recommend you check them out. We booked our tour ahead of time.

What a unique and fun way to see Jim Thorpe and the local area! Barb's friendly and entertaining style and excellent driving put you at ease right away. Her vast knowledge and love of the area and it's history come through as she takes you through the tour and makes you want to further explore all this area has to offer. Thank you Sidecar Barb for an unforgettable day and experience!

Very happy to recommend the Jim Thorpe Sidecar Tourz to anyone! Barb and Adam were our guides for the wine tasting tour. Barb started by providing the a little history of the town and continued as we made stops on our way to the winery. The sidecar ride was lots of fun, and it was awesome for both my husband and me to enjoy this tour as passengers. On a side note, Barb went out of her way to provide us with sidecar riding info since we are getting a sidecar. So glad she was able to accommodate us and grateful for everything she did for us! Thank you, Barb!

Unique experience and perspective for a tour. It was fun adventure as well as an informative overview of the history of the Jim Thorpe area. Barb was extremely helpful in the planning process. Both Barb and Geli excellent driver/guide who made the tour memorable. They are amazing and fun. Highly recommend.

What a great time! My wife and I recently did the scenic tour with Barb and Gili. It was totally great experience. We stopped along the way to soak in the beauty of the mountains and get a short narration of the history of the area. I was so that happy that my wife said that this was the "best birthday present ever". I would highly recommend this super fun time.

Highly reccomend if you are in the area. Alot of fun! We went on the mountainside tour with Barb and Geli Two very cool and capable guides, always felt safe and comfortabe riding with them. Saw some new places, learned a little history and tried something we've never done before! The sidecar is also suprisingly comfortable.

Barb was a friendly, accommodating tour guide. She and her sidekick, Jim, were waiting for us at our appointed time. They helped me to overcome my fear of motorcycles. Barb patiently guided me into the sidecar, no easy feat since I am a born klutz. I made a mistake of wearing shorts (a word of warning for anyone new to motorcyles: "don't"). She gave me and my husband a warm blanket each and a jacket to wear over our too-thin jackets. I even got a hot pink bandanna! The sights were unbelievable, and Barb's command of history gave us a new perspective on the Jim Thorpe area.

My first tour 'til my fourth - and many yet to come - AMAZING! Barb is a wealth of knowledge on the local history of this beautiful Pennsylvania area. She and her staff treat you like family and make you want to keep coming back to Jim Thorpe. There is always another gorgeous spot to see. Plus she is ONE HIP CHICK! Just do it - you can't go wrong and it is a fun way to explore our State's natural beauty. Thanks Barb!! <3 <3

I would book ahead. Each tour guide has their own bike and may not be available for the dates you want if you go last minute.

How long is an average tour. Trying to plan a trip and itinerary to Jim Thorpe and want to know how much time to build in for a tour like this. Thnx!!!

Barb was flexible: an hour around town, two hours for town and country, three hours for drive to winery for tasting and return to hotel/b and b, etc. She even suggested that we consider taking a picnic lunch to a park outside of town and let her chauffeur us. Ask Barb for ideas if you don't have a set one. She'll help you decide and let you know her fee.

Does the sidecar Tourz fit 2 people in the sidecar?? How does it work giving a tour to a couple on a motorcycle??/ general cost for 2??? We'll be there May 6 & 7 for a show. Do i need to make reservations in advance? how far in advance?/

A petite small person with a small child can fit on side cart and the other holds on to the guide as she rides the bike. Yes reservation is required. Don't forget to pay the parking meter, you will get a ticket if you dont. Beautiful experience especially with kids. The your guide is extremely nice. The tour is worth it.
