The train ride was OK. It's an out-and-back, and it wasn't quite as "scenic" as we thought it would be. Mostly trees and the river. I'd say it's worth doing with kids as they should enjoy the ride. There was also a little outdoor market...More

We took this ride from Jim Thorpe and were very pleased. We also took the Autumn leaf Steam train #425 from Reading, Pa, had a 3 hour layover in Jim Thorpe and then back to Reading. It was a wonderful experience!!!

Nice train ride with great information given. Go early ride the train and then go visit the Jail. Outside carriage worth the extra money. They need more bathrooms as there can be a. Long line.

We like trains and this was a way to see the gorge and take pictures and not have to worry about driving. There is a path through the gorge and you can rent bikes, but this was much cooler on a hot summer day.

Very good and inexpensive adventure into the Lehigh Vally. Takes 45 minutes round trip and they offer several longer excursions throughout the year.
