Beautiful shop, funny cards, excellent artistry!
Oct 2019 • Couples
A fun and fabulous place to browse and get very funny/saucy cards for all occasions (I got a Birthday card for my friend with an excellent, dark sense of humor).

It’s also stunningly designed from top to bottom, restoring the interior space to meet the building’s historic significance, with a contemporary eye and touch of high-class camp.

If I’m ever in the need of classy invitations custom-made this is for sure where I’ll go. Their hand-pressed paper invite designs make a paperless post (or printed on paper) invite look like child’s play.

Shout-out to owners Amy & Mitch who took the time to share their impressive design work and true artistry with us vistors.

Great Card Shop
Sep 2018
We visited here on a day trip to Jim Thorpe and this was definitely the highlight for me.

Full disclosure: I'm a print geek so this place really appealed to me! The shop sells delightfully racy and witty cards. There are working presses in the back, which are beautiful, and the shop takes print orders for invitations, business cards, stationery, etc. Their work is beautiful and it is well worth a visit, if only to chat with the owners and learn about their story and what they do.

Letterpress
Sep 2018
I thought it would have stationary and other literary supplies. It was disappointing. It had a lot of fun cards that were a bit on the racy side but humorous.

The only Shop to Visit in Jim Thorpe!
Aug 2017 • Couples
Love, love, love Somersault! Amazing place and amazing owners. I seriously could not stop laughing at all the fantastic cards. I love that they are printing the "old fashioned" way.
In my opinion, it is the only shop worth stopping at in Jim Thorpe. I hope more shops like this will be added to this lovely town.

Gorgeous store with amazing paper goods and hilarious cards
Nov 2017 • Friends
This store is my favorite place to visit when in the quaint village of Jim Thorpe, PA. Somersault Letterpress has a gorgeous Victorian chic interior filled with exquisite paper goods. Many of the cards have a funny, and saucy nature. The thick paper is hand embossed and printed on antique machines, which you can see in person. Their wedding invitations and custom invites are absolutely gorgeous too!

Delightfully Wicked
Aug 2017 • Couples
We went to Somersault Letterpress after seeing a sign in the window stating that many of their cards were of an adult nature. My husband, friends, and I had such a good time reading some of the hysterical cards made by hand in this shop. The cards are a bit more expensive than what you'd find at Hallmark, but they are so beautifully made they are worth the price! We left with several cards and will absolutely be back. Fair warning: this is not a typical card shop and many of the cards are of an adult nature.

AWESOME !!!

Wow! was this a fun adventure. Climbing the four steps is so worth it. You are greeted by AMY the shop owner who is great. The cards are all hand printed, so funny, and unique. You can see a beautiful working printing press in action. The building is something to see also, egg crate ceilings, wrought iron made locally (beautiful), great use of colors and cards that can be framed and used as a gift for all occasions. I love it and so will you.
