This place sit on a mountain with a mountain view all around. Beautiful view. The concert area reminded me of a huge modernized barn with great acoustics. We went there to see "Average White Band". Loved this place. The food was mainly sandwich style but still very good and our waitress, Kristin was so friendly and hospitable. The bartender, Flo,... More

We've been to Penns peak several times and enjoyed it each time. You can get a drink and go back to your seat with it any time during the show. Every seat is a good seat.

We were there to see Mark Farner. It is a small venue so all the seats are good. They have a bar at the back. I hear the view is spectacular...unfortunately it was very foggy when we were there so we missed the view. There could be better signage directing drivers where to turn.

This venue is a perfect place for a concert. The inside was very nice not too big and not too small. There is a bar and restaurant there called Roadies with a great view of the mountain. In the concert hall there is a full bar.

Summer at Penn's Peak is wonderful! Get there early to enjoy the view from the patio! Any seat is a good seat! Been there before and we will go again! Find a show you're interested in, go enjoy!

We took some friends to see the view at Penns Peak and it was truly amazing. It is located on Maury Road near the town of Jim Thorpe at a Restaurant/bar called Roadies. The view is breathtaking! You can patronize Roadies if you want to, but you can also relax on the chairs outside and just enjoy the view!

Traveled to Jim Thorpe, PA from the Erie, PA area for two reasons. #1 reason was to see the Happy Together concert tour. That was great! #2 reason was that we have passed through Jim Thorpe several times on our way to the coast and were so intrigued that we promised to return to explore it someday. For us, the... Penn's Peak is a small, VERY plain and simple concert venue. This has its pros and cons. Pros: totally convenient to get in and out. No confusing, creepy hallways. Smiling, quick, friendly security staff. Every seat has a good view (even our seat which was near a column, still could see the band very well). Small enough you can clearly... More

Went to Jim Thorpe PA to see Al Stewart in concert at the Mauch Chunk Opera House. ....delightful old opera house restored with great sound and lights. The town of Jim Thorpe is delightful...nestled in the Poconos with an old European charm!

Saw Uncle Ted at Penns peak last year & one of best concerts I ever attended. It's a smaller arena where every spot is a good one to watch concert. You can still actually afford to go and not break the bank as with most other venues lots of fun.
