Having not been there for probably 25 years we took our young kids for the afternoon. While it is a little run down the overall experience is really nice and certainly interesting to kids from the internet generation. The steam train is good fun and the kids and us loved it. The various little displays need a bit of love... More

All of the attractions were covered in dust and so many cobwebs were draped over the displays . However the bullock team and their handler were brilliant . The train was good and the driver very informative . Maybe the place could be cleaned up , dusted , and seal the static displays In glass to help prevent the dust... More

Timbertown has so much surprise inside! Dont be deceives by the exteriors! When we arrive, the outside was dead quiet. But inside, there are so much things to do and so many fun activities for the kids! We spent more than half a day there and my son loves the steam train!

We visited Timbertown last week and had a wonderful time. We were advised at the front desk that it was their quiet time of the year and a few things wouldn't be open but that did not stop us from filling in the whole day. The staff were amazing (big shout out to Craig - He is a real asset... More

This was a good family day out for young children and reasonably priced. Look at the activity schedule 1st to see what times the events are on or you'll miss some of the activities. There was mini train ride, steam train ride, horse and cart ride, bullocks demonstration, whip cracking activities and a blacksmith demonstration just to name a few... More
