Nice to walk back in time!

Had a good time and enjoyed the slower pace of life! There's lots to do, a steam train ride and a horse drawn carriage ride all included in the price! The only reason I gave it... read more

Great day out with our family. ... mum, dad and 2 boys 10 & 12. Enjoyed the step back in time to see how we used to live and how our country has developed. Highlight of the day was the bullocky team demo and the drover. He was extremely knowledgeable, had a fun personality and loved his job. We learned... More

Had a good time and enjoyed the slower pace of life! There's lots to do, a steam train ride and a horse drawn carriage ride all included in the price! The only reason I gave it 4stars instead of 5 is because in places it was a bit rundown and needing some maintenance! Other than that it's a good day... More

Turned up made us and our senior group wait to sort issue out instead of letting them through and sorting out payment with us. One lady on wheely walker used the tiolet and sat on her walker for a little while (due to she cant walk far) then waited out front was still charged full price ! so unfair to... More

Lovely day out, very interesting, lots to see and do for all the family. Apparently the average time spent there is 2.5 hours, we spent a good 4 hours checking everything out and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My Kiwi visitors were very impressed, a highlight of their trip! Lots of shade for a hot sunny day.

This is a lovely day out for families, especially on hot sunny days when it's too intense for the beach. I got to ride in the cab of the steam train, learn to crack a whip, and watch expert bullock drivers and blacksmiths at work. It's a great way to step back in time and get a glimpse of early... Well worth the visit, even better when steam machinery is running. Lot of walking, but take your time and see everything

Timbertown is an entire village re-created to demonstrate the stuggles and achievements of Australia's pioneers. Pioneer houses, horse and carriage rides, tour the sawmill, learn to crack a whip, ride the Steam Train, see the resident wood craftsman at work and watch the Bullock Team move timber. A working Blacksmith shows how to forge iron and for a price he... More

DEC 16 - This place is an outstanding representation of history, done in a respectful and diligent way. This isnt a theme park, but it is an enjoyable family day out. The shows are informative without being forced, by true craftesmen. The stores are lovely, the wine tasty and the animals are a great addition . This place has improved... More

Been going to Timbertown since it's inception and it's just as good as ever. The new owner has really put in a great effort in maintaining it . One of the, if not the best attraction in NSW

We travelled to Timbertown today with our young children and had a great time. Spend some time with the staff and you will have a ball. (The lady at the front counter can do a little more though, a big happy welcome and goodbye would be great!) They all work really hard and will do anything for you. Craig the... More
