I worked here during the ski season in 2014, very enjoyable place to be with lots to do and many shops and places to eat.

Great to visit in summer with an array of activities on offer. Take your pick from a gentle themed stroll around the village, longer walks such as the iconic hike to Kosciuszko, or Dead Horse Gap, try Mountain Biking or go for a swim in the pool.

Spent 4 nights staying at Squatters Run, with young son. Like many at this time of year, the main aim was to climb Mt Kosciusko, which is very accessible from Thredbo Village for all age groups. There are several other outdoor activities available in the non-ski season, for us we also enjoyed the large public swimming pool/leisure centre complex when... More

We bought the family day pass, for $100 we were able to take the kids on unlimited cable car rides, we received 15 bobsled passes, used the indoor pool and slide and generally enjoyed the surrounds.

I spent two nights in Thredbo, I choose to stay at Thredbo Alpine Hotel. Being January when I was there, there was no snow, but the atmosphere is just great. You know you are somewhere different. There is a lot to do during the day. I went up on the Kosciuszko Chair Lift. You get a great view going up... More

Such a great resort. So beautiful, stunning mountain bike riding. Well done Thredbo management and staff , I can't recommend the tracks , village activities and restaurants / bars enough. Visited twice in 2015 , still haven't done enough, will definitely be back. Valley ride 15 out of 10 , just so amazing. 16 to 18 km of rolling trail... More

Spent a few days here evaluating the resort. Took part in lots of activities and was well looked after, but beyond the facade Thredbo is second rate. Your are a captive customer here and prices are high and service poor, with some exceptions. My host was very embarrassed when the metal footpath to the summit ripped off the sole of... More
