Picnic in park followed by pelican feeding and kids play in water park. Lovely day out on the entrance waterfront.

We watched from the front row and was great. Highly recommend! To get the front row we arrive arround 3:10pm, the announcer was already gathering people. At 3:30pm they start feeding the pelicans. All the 50 minutes we spend there we learned a few things about Pelicans and extra infos about the animal life in the area. It was for free but if you go, remember to leave a donation. They definitely deserved.

We walked here from our accommodation as it's supposed to be the No. 1 attraction in The Entrance. I understand the activity is operated by volunteers. We watched with our 5-year old for about 5 minutes after which she asked to leave. We had a great deal of trouble trying to hear the information the presenter was saying due to the poor sound of the PA system. Also, we didn't see any audience participation. Maybe it's dangerous. This "attraction" is OK if you're staying in town but don't drive a long way to see it. Had we done this we'd have been disappointed.

We are sorry to hear you did not have a positive experience during your visit to the Pelican Feed. The PA system is reasonably new, but we will keep an eye on this to make sure there is no issue with the system. When we have strong winds, unfortunately this can interfere a little. We do encourage the Volunteers to keep a safe distance, when possible, between the public and the pelicans as they are wild birds. Our volunteers do their very best to ensure the pelican feed is delivered in a safe manner, both to the public and the pelicans. We thank you and appreciate you providing us feedback.

The place is great Families with young kids. There’s a play area for little ones and rides for my older kids. Pelican feeding is great experience for kids and adults too. Food store is accessible and parking is free.
