Carrington Falls were stunning. An easy walk from the car park there are a few different viewing platforms to take in the massive drop. The view down the gorge below is also brilliant.
Just be careful in the car park as the parking spots are very tight and with a few 4x4s there was very little space.
There are picnic tables at the falls. We also drive into the camping area to have a look at the Blue Pool. It would be a great swimming hole in summer.

What a gorgeous part of New South Wales Southern Highlands area these waterfalls are. Spent 3hrs between Carrington Falls & nearby Belmore Falls. Both trails are fairly easy walking with a few stairs here & there. Couple of lookout points at both falls.
At Carrington there's a small area you could swim/wade around in. Located at the top prior to running over rocks & down to bottom. Can walk from one side to the other also, as only 1/2 way up lower leg at most.. So peaceful you could do several times a year & not bore of the area. Pretty good for kids over about 3 also I reckon. Had recent rain in area so paths a little waterlogged, but that's part of the fun isn't it!! Rain made falls fast flowing & in multiple places also.

Visiting Carrington Falls has been on my bucket list for a long time and did not disappoint. Simply beautiful. I have mobility issues so I am limited to waterfalls to visit but this is an easy visit for young or old with good access. Well worth the drive

Such a magnificent waterfall with multiple viewing stations so you can see it from all angles. The access was so easy so it caters for people of all abilities to see it. A very short walk from the car park with several options for a full loop or singular viewpoint.

We took the short circuit trail from the car park to the falls lookout. The path is well designed with a few lookout points and also takes you to the pools at the top of the waterfall. It’s a quick circuit if you don’t have time for a long walk. Highly recommend.

The road in has been blocked due to fires so we nearly gave up but found a road in. And so glad we did. There is a picnic table as you drive up and the water is right behind that. You literally drive up to it. With a little bit of clambering and a walk on a track from previous hikers we walked right down to the ledge overhanging the falls and gauge. You could see where the fire on the other side had been and the railed off lookout areas.
It is so pretty. Where we walked the water has been up at some stage covering the big granite rocks but we walked right over those as they were dry. It is a very pretty spot and worth a look.
There were so many flowers but the red Waratah stood out and was our first sighting of one. The ferns and orchids clinging to the vertical rockface near the waterfall were just being watered from the mist from the falls.

Well worth a visit. The Falls are gorgeous and you can trek to the top if you are so inclined. It is a 1 minute walk from the car park to the viewing platform.

Fantastic place to visit, great views of the falls and easy walking on walking paths with rails. Some steps but easy.

Honestly our breath was taken away by this gorgeous waterfall. It’s easily accessible and safe to visit. Take your bathers as there is a cute swimming hole at the top. A great place for drone flyers and photographers, that’s for sure.

A lot of the infrastructure at Carrington Falls was destroyed in a major bushfire in 2016 and at end November 2018 it had still not been repaired. Hence access to the falls from the main road was blocked off. However, there was a silver lining as just around up the road is the beautiful waterhole at Nellie's Glen.
