Our family loves the Shoalhaven Zoo. Lots of opportunities to get up close to the animals. The animal shows are great; everyone has a chance to pat a variety of animals and learn lots of facts. If you visit, be sure to attend the shows to get the most out of your trip. The location is beautiful, too.

We took the kids and bought an annual membership, which was a complete waste of money, the facilities are terrible and not a whole lot of animals for a zoo, mogo is a far better option and worth the cost of admission.

Took my grandson here for a couple of hours and he loved it. Lots of farm animals to feed which was great. The only complaint is that when we went in to the animal talk I was deliberately blocked from taking photos of my grandson patting any of the animals because they had a $10.00 photo shot with one of... It felt dated. Most of the staff were helpful but a man swearing and carrying on with a bobcat near the car park was obnoxious. Was told he was the zoo's owner. That put a downer on the trip.

From feeding a wide range of animals- wallaroos to ostriches, climbing the high ropes and listening to the talks, there is plenty to do. The zoo is small but enjoyable. A good family day out. As it is a smaller zoo it isn't too crowded, always a plus!

Even though Shoalhaven Zoo isn't huge, it still offers all you can ask for. Very interactive for all ages, offering different shows and feeding areas. Very affordable and would recommend to any famlies

We had a lovely day out here recently. Visited with my parents (66yrs) and daughters (10 & 5yrs) and there was something for everyone. We all loved feeding the kangaroos and farmyard animals (personal favourite was the water buffalo)! We watched the Furry Friends Show and learned a lot about wombats, echidnas and possums. We ate lunch in the cafe... More

This zoo is on the smaller side but definitely a good day out. Everything is in good view and all the animal actually move around. The koala & reptile photos are good except could be bigger size photos for what you pay. Otherwise all in all a good day out.
