Love that we're supporting a small independent zoo - a bonus that we visited when there were lots of talks and shows to see! Our 2yo loved the petting zoo area. Will definitely be back!
Thoroughly enjoyed a visit here on Monday. Animal feeding shows were fun and the scenery and surrounds are spectacular. I also like how you can get close to the animals and they all look happy.
The Zoo is for families - only small, but very well looked after. The Petting Farm is great for the younger children. All the animals are cared for....

My overall impression - SAD. The zoo environment and animals were disappointing and we came aware with the overall sad impression. The most telling were the dusty enclosures and sad expressions on animal faces, particularly the lions.

There is wheelchair access, the paths through the zoo are crushed granite so some areas are uneven, but plenty of prams and wheelchairs do come in. There is a disability toilet
