Bar Rock lookout and Australia Rock is a must do when visiting Narooma. It’s a fabulous place to see seals sunbathing on the rocks and frolicking in the ocean. The coastal views are also outstanding. Parking down the bottom of the road is ideal if there isn’t too many people around. …

We first went to bar lookout which had beautiful views! Then we walked down past the Australia rock formation and down the path where we got to see so many seals! It was the first time for any of my family to see seals in the wild so we were excited! At first they were all sunbaking along the rocks, but soon 4 were in the water and splashing away which was such a fun site! Also such a beautiful area and water, would love to go snorkeling in that bay some day!…

This site is worth a stop, regardless if your holidaying in Narooma or just passing through. The views from the lookout are good, but for us the highlight was getting a photo of Australia Rock & then taking the short walk over to the breakwater wall to spot seals frolicking in the water or sun baking on the rocks.…
