Excellent wines on a beautiful location!

The moment you pull in to the driveway of this small but picturesque vineyard, you feel like the business of Sydney is days away from you! The cellar door offers fresh baked pastry and, of course, beautiful wines. The place breaths out calmness and and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Definitely worth a visit!

Table service
May 2016 • Family
Table service at high end wineries in Cali is becoming more and more common, so far this is the only place Down Under where I have received this. That makes this place better than the norm here. Pleasant tasting room and friendly staff. Coffee and snacks also available. Solid wines. A good place for a tasting.

Always the first place I take visitors. Marist Wines has - a special feeling.
The property is sublime. A proper religious retreat, absolutely beautiful.
Stop for a while in the Chapel. Just relax, reflect, and feel. A very moving little Chapel (and I'm not religious!)
The Cellar Door and cafe is humble, small, and intriguing.
The very, very, very best thing about Marist Wines is the complete honesty about their wines - they neither oversell or undersell their qualities. Ian is a fantastic guide to their wines - he will find you something you like. While most of the wines are good, occasionally there are absolutely brilliant, outstanding wines. We are still desperately hanging onto to cases of the 2014 Pinot Gris and the last few bottles of 'The Reluctant Pastoralist' - both only taken out on very special occasions!
Beautiful destination.

Quiet drive around the area led us to Marist Wines
Nov 2016
Had some time to fill in waiting for motel check in time, and Marist Winery was not far. Set on a beautiful farm we headed up the hill toward the winery and chapel. The tasting room is right next door to the chapel so the sound of music wafted down the hill towards us as we approached. Wine tasting can be taken at the counter or you can sit comfortably around tables and the wines are brought to you by two very enthusiastic friendly guys. Was a lovely visit and tasted (and bought) some lovely cool climate wines.

Perfect
Oct 2016 • Couples
My husband and I decided to visit this winery after tasting their wine at a local café, we had a glass of Pinot Gris each and loved it.
Driving in was special in itself, such beautiful grounds. We were greeted by a lovely young man who was new to the vineyard.
He happily brought out some whites (we don't like red).
Even though he was new he had obviously been doing his homework. We tried the Sauvignon Blanc and (again) the Pinot Gris. Loved them both.
The "boss"? came out and I am sorry to say I didn't get his name. He started chatting and joking with us, very friendly, genuinely nice.
We told him that we had decided to visit after trying the wine at a local café.
The entire visit was superb, he even handed us a free bottle of Pinot Gris! How good is that!
We will definitely go back for lunch and more of their superb wines

Gorgeous location
Apr 2016 • Friends
The Marist Brothers have been in this location for many years... It's the former training centre.
Now there's the vineyard & cellar door, and a venue for spiritual retreats.
The wines are grown onsite, and I'd recommend tasting them. My friends all bought plenty to take home. The coffee is also great.
If you have time, you can spend a few minutes reflecting in the updated chapel.
