I think it's the clearest water I've ever swam in.

Amazing, crystal clear and incredibly safe. Snorkel swim or enjoy the wildlife, or just simply laze around on such a superb beach.

Ned's Beach is a lovely stretch of Beach, snorkeling gear & wet suits available on an Honour System. Fish feeding is great, just go down any time with some fish treats & they swarm - large, hungry fish that 'jump' out of the water in their rush for food.

This beach is famous for feeding the fish that gather throughout the day. For a small fee, you purchase fish pellets, walk in the water and feed the fish at your feet.

Although I totally disagree with the feeding of the fish, it does give you a bit of a thrill seeing them all come towards you when you enter the water. It is actually quite surprising that this is allowed in a World Heritage area. If gives the wrong message, even if the pellets provided are OK. We should be teaching... More

Neds Beach is well sheltered and great to visit. Only $1 to feed the fish and this is the cheapest entertainment you'll find anywhere

Very easy walk to beach which had snorkeling, fish feeding and swimming. Lovely views and good walking. Choose the beach depending on the way the winds are blowing.

These were a regular event for the 7 days on the Island, feeding the fish, talking to other people and perfect snorkelling. Truly fabulous beach!

Loved swimming and snorkelling and feeding the fish, just sitting and relaxing having a picnic lunch

A perfect little beach. Cleanest water and whitest sand. The fish are amazing and come right up to you to be fed.

Must go to Ned's Beach. In fact all beaches are safe and very beautiful. Ned's has rock pools that take you back 40 years, They are full of clams, shell fish of all kinds plus colourful weeds and coral.
