We went out on a whale watching cruise, it was excellent. We saw numerous whales, some breaching, some laying on top of the water and waving their fins around, such a delight to watch. I would highly recommend these cruises for anyone, staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.

We enjoyed the Jervis Bay passage tour in April. The vessel was clean and well equipped. Anthony and Sonia took great care of the passengers and shared their knowledge of the bay with a witty running commentary as we made our way from point to point. The sights are spectacular a real privilege to see from a different aspect.
Take a jacket as the sea breeze can be a tad cool and sit to the right of the vessel up the back as it can be very hard to see and get photos from the port side especially when everyone stands in front of you.
Sonia & Anthony did a great job of keeping everyone safe and seated though some children were a little supervised and noiser than necessary.

This was a wonderful experience, we saw a mother and baby Humpback Whale playing, waving, breaching and diving for an extended time. The crew were lovely and friendly and took time to make sure we all saw the whales. Highly recommended.

Well what an experience.. not very good and won’t be back! Booked hire online for 10:30, got there no organisation or help in what to do need to go into the cafe to book in and get paperwork! First told not possible as they were all booked out even though we had booked and paid online! Finally after all the stuffing around got in the water at 11:10 with one young boy getting the boards, kayaks etc for everyone booked. In among it all boat tours returning with people everywhere and not sure who’s doing what!! Staff not overly friendly and very stressed. People turn up with things that they can’t take on tour and told to leave it in different places around the cafe!! Even cafe staff in the kitchen looking confused trying to work out orders!! Such a let down ...

Thank-you for your review, We sincerely apologise for inconvenience caused. Yes due to the unprecedented demand on the day we were totally overwhelmed and have since reviewed, restructured and retrained our staff to be in a position to be better able to accommodate all our customers when we are working at full capacity.

We did the 11.00am passage tour and whilst we knew it was too late to see whales we were disappointed to not see any dolphins or seals. We sat on the bottom deck and despite repeated requests we, along with others could not hear the Captains commentary and it was all muffled no matter how loud it was turned up. We could not do the stairs so no option. The other concern was the unprofessional young female crew member. We started the cruise by her swearing and saying she couldn’t be in the navy because she has too much attitude. Well she got that right. She was constantly texting and talking away to her colleague and made it clear she did not want to be there and finished it off by opening a can of tuna right in front of us and having her lunch along with swilling coke. Help yourself to tea and coffee in paper cups not good enough for the price. We have done lots of similar boat tours but this was really disappointing.

We hired SUP from Jervis bay wild cruises, they took an hour to get us out on the water so by the time we launched we could only paddle for an hour. We were charged $39 for each board for an HOUR!!!! Total rip off, staff were rude and it felt as though hiring equipment was an effort for them. Do your research there are MANY other places in town that charge only $25 an hour.

We boarded at Huskisson Wharf at 6pm and headed up Currumbene Creek for a 2 hour return trip. Very relaxing, crew friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. BYO nibblies and drinks make it a very affordable option and a great way to see this part of the world. Easy to book and would thoroughly recommend this experience.

Our Whale Cruise with Jervis Bay Wild was great until we got outside the heads and were met with huge swells and sat bobbing around like a cork. We could not even see the horizon, let alone any whales. Had to turn around and come back in as many were scared and seasick. We came back around inside Jervis Bay and did see two seals and a mob of kangaroos (on land).
Good commentary and wonderful crew, very helpful and friendly. Covid aware with temp checks and constantly cleaning and sanitising.
Could not see any whales and did not get across to see Point Perpendicular or Honeymoon Bay as stated in brochure either. I know there are no guarantees but maybe a discount on a future cruise might have been some compensation. Recommend checking the conditions before you go out, even on a nice sunny, calm day.

Thankyou for your positive feedback, We endeavor everytime to offer "The Ultimate Jervis Bay Expedition". With conditions forecast to be well within our safety parameters we departed for our morning tour and unfortunately for us the weather closed in with seas outside the bay higher than forecast. With "Passenger Comfort and Safety " foremost in mind "The Master" of our vessel returned into the safety of the sheltered waters of Jervis Bay where we were lucky enough to have a whale breach 3 times behind the boat just inside Bowen Island. Continuing on with the tour the rains eased, with sightings of Kangaroos, Seals and and escort of Dolphins from Plantation Point to the entrance to Huskisson Harbour.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to JB wild cruises for helping transport the community from Myola to Huskisson during the fires when the Princes Hwy was closed. These guys utilized their BBQ boat to ferry 20 people at a time to allow people to get back to their homes and families. Free of charge. Great job guys, can't thank you enough.

Thankyou so much for your positive feedback. The extent of these fires is unprecedented with many people trapped due to road closures. It was our privilege to give back to the community. Once again Thankyou.

Lovely day... Lots of sealife and dolphins .

We saw whales tails and spouts from the males migrating south. Apparently they don’t hang out near the surface as much as mums, matriarchs and calves.

Well worth the $120 we spent to see the sights
