Worth stopping to have a quick look at the mining things ....nice grassed area if you need to run some legs off the kids.

Well set up opposite the Information Centre. Lots of history to read. Commemorates the miner's that lost their lives. A stamper battery there too.

This is a really nice park for kids and adults. You can click pics with some old and huge machinery used in mining.

Great use of heritage building and innovative and informative displays and features. Great tourist draw card for a small country town. Love seeing this sort of initiative.

Pretty park with quite a few historic points of interest. Located across the road from the marvellous Heritage Museum

The heritage centre is really worth a visit. It’s one of those places that when you think you are finished you find more to look at. The staff were friendly and very very helpful.

It is worth a 10 minute photo stop, plus you get to look and learn a little about the areas mining history.
