Diving Julian Rocks was amazing, Magnificent schools of colorful fish, grey nurse sharks, kingfish, snapper, turtles and wobbegongs in 20+ meter visibility made this an excellent dive. As a retired scuba instructor I see many dive businesses that are professional, but run things like an army camp and others that are friendly but lack organization. The Byron Bay Dive Centre has the best of both worlds. This is a well organized centre with a great focus on safe, friendly and professional service.

What a fabulous trip. We were treated to incredible sightings of dolphins and them whales. Our crew spotted , them followed a group of whales that entertained us totally for well over an hour . We kept pace with them and loved seeing them come out of the water close to our boat. Amazing experience. The crew really wanted us to gat to see the whales. They were brilliant and knowledgeable.

Our guide Fred was fantastic! He really looked after my13yr old daughter who couldn't equalise on the dive and took her snorkelling instead, as well as making sure I could dive with another group. Highly recommend, great dive, lots of Wobbegongs and Grey Nurse Sharks. .

Excellent skipper with 25 years experience made us feel very safe and was hugely knowledgeable regarding the whales. Information on line and the video prior to leaving their office meant there were no surprises as to how the tour was going to run and what was required of us. After a bit of a slow start we were lucky enough to see many adult whales including a group of 4 who came near to our vessel of their own accord. Only feedback I can give is that the van used to transport us to the beach had a broken door and appeared to be in poor repair.

Awesome dives! I did two dives (two days) - totally recommend it. My dive instructors/ buddies were Emma and Leon, two lovley people. Saw lots of sharks, turtles and eagle rays! Visibility was amazing (even tho it was raining on my first dive). A must do in Byron Bay.
