Great customer service from the company, working in a small group was very advantageous, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the marine life. Julian rocks is a beautiful spot where we saw a huge variety of fish, 3 turtles, a wobbegong shark and an eel. An amazing and memorable experience, very good value for money!

This was my first dive at Julian Rocks and I absolutely loved it. I've only heard good things, so I had high expectations. It lived up to my expectations. Saw nurse sharks, wobbegongs, turtles, a leopard shark, spotted eagle ray, cod, nudibranch, lionfish, moray eels, just to name a few. It was worth doing 2 dives, even though you have to come back to the dive centre in between. The team are friendly and helpful :)

Julian Rocks snorkelling was better than the Great Barrier Reef. We saw sea turtles, a large wobbegong shark, a large kingfish and a multitude of brightly coloured fish of many different kinds. The staff were excellent. They helped us in many ways and were very friendly. I highly recommend the Byron Bay Dive Centre and Julian Rocks for snorkellers.

Byron Dive centre USELESS TO SAY THE LEAST... Knowledgeable Communication with this company simply doesn't exist, booked my tour 4 days ago online, sent back answers to questions Byron dive centre asked me, spoke to them twice over past 2 days and was booked today to go perfect weather onshore, but offshore not so. I get the safety aspect, but why the bloody hell didn't you show me the experience in your company and call to fit me in 3 days prior when conditions were fine to snorkel. You ruined a tour I was looking fwd to and won't be back to Byron for some time now. Byron bay dive centre couldn't organise a chook raffle. Don't trust this tour company will dissapoint you. And price advertised wasn't honoured. As attached 😡

Hi, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that your experience with us was that of a negative one. Unfortunately we did not have any snorkel tours operating earlier in the same week that you were booked due to a mixture of unsuitable wind and swell conditions which resulted in cancellations also. We therefore would not of been able to accommodate you on an earlier tour. Please also note that our snorkel tours on the days earlier were also booked (prior to cancellation) and we would therefore not of been able to move you to an earlier date if the tours did operate. I can confirm that the price of our snorkel tour is $99.00 on our website and our agents website's of which you booked through the Trip Advisor site. https://www.tripadvisor.com.au/AttractionProductReview-g528934-d11991132-3_Hour_Sea_Turtle_Snorkeling_Experience_in_Byron_Bay-Byron_Bay_Byron_Shire_New_Sou.html Please note if you were using the US version of the site then the price would be coming up in US$ which may be why the price was showing differently. Our apologies for this confusion, but unfortunately this is not something we can control. We are sorry again that your experience with us was not a positive one but hope that you will consider rebooking with us in the future. Thank you, Byron Bay Dive Centre Management
