It was busy and we landed at the right time to get a parking space. We saw dolphins and turtles in the sea. It’s a fair walk back if your unfit and it was hot.. but well worth it.

One of the best coastal walks we have ever done-lots of variety walking on beach, in forest, saw koals, kayakers in ocean, birdlife-magnificent ocean views!!

The track and walk to the lighthouse is very tough. The views are great but if you have any levels of unfitness or a dodgy knee or bad back, avoid walking it! Not sure it’s worth the pain! Watego beach is tho.

This is a fantastic walking trail, whether you walk through it or jog. The views of the ocean are incredible and the lighthouse certainly adds to the area's appeal. Highly recommended!

The Lighthouse Trail is an amazing, scenic walk but it is not for the unfit and it is best done early in the day, or after the bite has gone out of the sun - unless you go in winter that is! The most easterly...More

Couple of hours depending on how many times you stop to take selfies/photos. Take plenty of water if it’s hot. Take the coastal route up to the lighthouse which we think is better than doing it in reverse.
