This walk was about 5km round trip for our hotel which was perfect to pre-burn off dinner. There’s a lot of steps and uneven paths near the lighthouse so sturdy shoes are recommended. The view from the eastern point is wonderful and we even saw...More

The Lighthouse trail was a bit congested for a lovely Saturday afternoon (imagine that) but the view was magnificent. It is quite a work out going the whole distance but lugging my camera to the end was SO WORTH IT! It is well maintained and...More

Zero stars for parking and staff but a million stars for the trail. Beautiful views, breathtaking scenery, you can see so far in every direction. Paths go up and down and it’s very windy, other tourists polite. Rubbish flying around, make sure you pick it...More

The walk almost killed me, it's very steep in parts, but it's worth it for the view and wildly fe. We were lucky enough to see whales

If you're visiting Byron, you must do the walk up to the lighthouse. Stunning views, there's no place like it. No matter what the weather, it's worth it.

Couple of hours depending on how many times you stop to take selfies/photos. Take plenty of water if it’s hot. Take the coastal route up to the lighthouse which we think is better than doing it in reverse.
