What an amazing experience! Dolphins everywhere! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I have never before felt comfortable kayaking in large waves, but the fantastic guides made me feel safe enough to sail through the breaking waves along the shore. Would 100% do this tour again.

Personalized tour for us with only 2 others that morning, and we waited patiently quite a while out past the breakers, with our guide Myles telling us snippets about the Bay, the beaches and beyond. Then the dolphins arrived and we were treated to various pods surfing the waves near us, feeding and surfing again. It was very cool to... More

I was a bit afraid of doing kayaking in the sea....the waves...and I have never done it before, but I enjoyed it so much. It was really good. The guides explain everything and it is really not that hard. We were lucky we saw few dolphins close. It was a nice experience and a nice day out!

I visited Byron Bay for two days whilst on s short trip to Australia. Cape Byron Kayaks made my trip one to remember. The team were professional whilst being friendly and funny. All the equipment required was provided, including sunshine and sunscreen. Our group got to see two larger pods of Dolphins, along with their babies, which was a pretty... More

Completed the Cape Byron kayak tour today. What a great time with plenty of dolphins to be seen. Me and my friend have average fitness and the tour was done easily. Getting back to shore was a bit tricky as we capsized but guides were there to help us up. I would highly recommend this trip.

Thank you for the review and even the guides capsize sometimes ridding the waves to shore so you did awesome. Paddling and seeing the dolphins swim by is an amazing experience and we are glad that you had this experience whilst paddling with us. More

Amazing morning on the very calm, warm sea with cape Byron kayaks. Free pick up from resort and swift, easy check in. Wetsuits provided for colder months and a quick informative lesson on how to kayak (perfect for beginners and advanced kayakers). Straight into sea and within 30mins spotted first dolphins. However dolphins soon became second best to 2 hump... More

After reading reviews of the two similar places, you couldn’t really split the two they were so similarly rated. I chose Cape Byron Kayaks. Easy to book online. I was only a few minutes’ walk to their location so didn’t need to use their free pick up. All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. All the kayaks are doubles... More

Went sea kayaking today with a friend old enough to be my mum and one young enough to be my daughter. It was awesome! Nana (as we called her) sat up front with a guide in her boat and didn't even get her paddle wet, at least until we begged him to tip her out which he obligingly did. Would... More
