Many steps to climb to see paradise. What an amazing view. I was fortunate enough to see several whales and dolphins. Lots of bench seats to have a breather and rest if required. Recommend the walk.

Well worth a visit, also offers great walks around the area and a cosy little swimming beach. Magnificent views, especially at sunset. And a cafe to relax after the walks.

You have to pay to park.💲💲💲💲💲 Which is a pity. Steep climb 🆙🆙🆙 along the road, which makes the walk up🔝 impractical with small children. $8. 💰💰💰💰💰

We visited in September and despite being busy managed to get a car parking space right by the lighthouse. The views from the cliff paths are suburb and we were luck enough to spot a pod of whales in the bay and took some good photos though only with maximum zoom.

The whales and dolphins were out! The lighthouse tour itself, we parents loved, however maybe a bit too much information for the littlies, they found it a bit too hard to stay still halfway up the lighthouse.. What kid doesn't want to just run all the way to the top?! The little museum at the bottom is pretty cool, kids... More

A little windy road leads to one of the oldest lighthouses in Australia. Also the most eastern part of Australia - a footpath below the lighthouse takes you all the way to the most eastern part (perhaps a bit too strenuous if you are a little unfit) . A lovely little museum inside the lighthouse with friendly volunteers to tell... More

The cape Byron lighthouse is worth the walk. The coastal path is well maintained but not suitable for prams or wheelchairs. The lighthouse is perfectly painted. The coffee shop had been renovated and had a beautiful view. I'm unsure of the quality of food as I only bought water. The pastries looked lovely though. Be aware that it will cost... More
