We drove up to the lighthouse and parked at the top. We were then entertained by 2 pods pf dolphins and 6 whales travelling so close to the coastline and up around the lighthouse point. WOW!

Lovely lighthouse with a small museum inside and a bar outside. Great views over the ocean. Parking costs you 8 dollars.

It really is amazing to see the views from the lighthouse. Well worth it. Lots of people walked and whilst it was up hill of course, it didn't put people off. We were lazy and had a car. $8 to park and very limited parking have to say though that a few spaces came free while we were looking. We... More

This Lighthouse is at the most easterly point of Australia, and is definitely worthy of a visit. Even on a weekday, the parking lots filled up quickly, and we were lucky to get one as someone was leaving! Parking up at the lighthouse is limited and costs AUD$8 for ?4 hours. Good enough for a walk around the lighthouse, and... More

Nice Walk & Views - well worth the trip! Was pretty busy and hard to find carpark (also all paid parking), so make sure you go early to get a spot. Only spent 10 mins once up there, but great spot!

Whale and dolphin watching definitely, 360 degree views of the entire coast. Keep your eye's open for the goats on the side of the moutain. Fabulous indigenous Australian shop within the lighthouse shop facility. Food is terrific, kick back with a coffee, or icecream after what is a spectacular walk to get here.

Fabulous views all round with a short path to the point. We watched whales at play! Just as impressive looking down at them as along side. Found the notes in the lighthouse interesting & guides helpful. Delighted with how well presented & preserved all the buildings were. Especially moved by the involvement & contributions of the local indigenous people. This... More

Great free tour of a working lighthouse on the eastern most point in Australia. Volunteer tour guides were very friendly and knowledgable. The views from the balcony are the highlight of course. Saw multiple whales in the distance breaching

Visited this famous beach side town, also the eastern most point of Australia. No doubt the views are simply stunning. Every side is different. You have cliff views with huge waves pounding the rocks. On the other side, you also can see this amazing beach stretching far. Didn't expect this place to be busy in winter. But even finding a... The views here are simply amazing. It gives a great 360 view of the whole area. The only tip I can give is to park at the first car spot you find free. Because you'll be very lucky to find a spot at the top. And it's a nice walk up the hill anyway. An obvious must see when you're... More
