The Cape Byron Lighthouse is situated on the most Easterly point of the Australian mainland...and is well worth a visit if you are in the area. There is a road to the base of the lighthouse, but parking can be difficult and expensive. You can park in streets near the bottom of the hill and walk up as an option.... More

We had a quick look at the light house. There is not much parking but the view is great. It's worth getting out of the car to visit the Eastern most part of Australia.

Was a beautiful drive to the lighthouse. many photos and the scenery was amazing. worth a visit if you are in Byron Bay. the parking was a bit high $8 dollars just to be there a hour as you would only stay 10 minutes just to take photos.

We made the walk to the lighthouse on a hot summers day. The lighthouse itself is lovely; very well kept and a great landmark, however i found the journey (cape Byron walking trail) better than the destination in this case. I would highly recommend those visiting the lighthouse to take the walk rather than drive. Albeit, still worth a visit... More

We saved the lighthouse walk for our last day in Byron Bay. It rained of course! We still walked the loop with our 4 yr old. She walked the entire loop. Nice forest and beach views. A little crowded but completely understandable.

Every time we come to Byron bay the lighthouse visit is a must. Spectacular views and we've been lucky enough to see dolphins too. A must do in Byron

Long walk but it's beautiful. Nice views, can get pretty windy so carry a jacket. Be prepared for the crowds though. Probably best to get there before midday

Went up there on a beautiful day, so the views were amazing. It is a great walk, though not the easiest I've done ;) But no matter, the views along the way are beautiful and so is the view on top. The lighthouse itself is a small museum and you can do an additional tour.
