I can go there every morning for the sunrise. It was so peaceful and calming to just watch the sun slowly rise up from the horizon. I think the best time to go up is during sun rise as it can get a bit hot after sunrise during summer. Do go during early part of your trip as you may... More

Slap on a pair of comfy walking shoes and don't forget your camera. This Byron Bay icon is a prime spot for photos, but you'll have to trek a ways to get to it. Best viewed at sunset.

This is the highlight of Byron Bay for many and because we were only stopping for a night it was top on the list for us. We did part of the walk up to the lighthouse and you will pass by many beautiful beaches along the way. The views from the top are superb and you might even be lucky... More

This is a very popular tourist destination, being the furthest easterly point on the Australian mainland, so you'll find lots of people there. If you come by car, you can have a lot of difficulty parking at peak times. The scenery is good and you may see dolphins below in the sea. There is a small cafe there if you... More

Was glad we made the trek up to the lighthouse. Was a beautiful view and we were able to spot some whales on the way down.

Hahaa... Im reviewing a lighthouse. But really, its a fantastic view, and the beach walk up to it is so special. Make sure you do this as the first activity in Byron Bay!

Spectacular views. Walking track for the energetic or parking... is a bit steep $8... more little tracks and lookouts once you get to the top.

Only about 5km from main town a lot of people run to here and to the top for sunrise. We took a tour with our hostel and really enjoyed the view. I've heard of people seeing whales in season but we got to see a cute little wallaby checking us out. Great place year round.

Beautiful views, nice stroll up. Lots of stairs, so of you have bad knees or ankles I wouldn't recommend walking. Spotted a wild wallaby just below the fence by the light house
