Beautiful Beaches

Beach was clean, with beautiful views. Easy access, we were even able to take a pram to the beach. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Parking was close and free as well.

This is a true Aussie beach. Love it - walk along into Byron or wander in the other direction. Views of the lighthouse and Mt Warning, just stunning.

The northern extents of Belongil beach are where you can get away from the crowds and take a peaceful walk with just the waves to keep you company. Plenty of good eating establishments up that way too when you've finished.

A lot of beach so never crowded, walk to main shops at Byron Bay. It is dog friendly so expect a fair few of them in peak times. We stay close to the beach and it is easily reached with a fifty metre walk. Water is beautiful and clean. If you don't like dogs it's not the place to go,... More

Really good for being on the east coast. Lot's of space and warmer water than down on the south coast. Still not as good as the best west coast beaches though

There was plenty of people enjoying the open beach on Sunday, the waves were not very big..plenty of room to enjoy some sunbaking when it warms up, definitely will be back. Shame about paying for parking @$3hr.

a long long long nearly empty stretch of beach, that is just that little bit out of town to give a bit more privacy and seclusion. Stunning holiday beach houses and homes.... just another few steps and you arrive at a family nudie beach where you can indulge in some freedom, and enjoy the feeling of how it should be... More

Well this area I have lived so I know the beach very well. This beach erodes in the king tides some years, but other years, a lot of sand can be dropped here, so it really depends on the season and the year how the beach is. The surf is fickle so it is not consistent, but has been known... More
