I kayaked in Australian winter but I was so lucky with the weather. Nevertheless rain or sun what a fabulous thing to do! I saw a flock (not sure if that's the correct word) of dolphins - roughly 30 swim within 50 metres of my kayak and a humpback whale, the instructors are great and know a lot about the... More

Helpful and humorous guides. Great fun and well organized. We got so close to a Southern Right whale and her calf that we actually had to back up out of their way! My first encounter with a whale in the wild and I cannot imagine it being any better (or closer).

At one point we were surrounded by dolphins swimming around us. The whale was a Southern Right Whale and looked like it had a calf with... More

Per my punny title.. We saw whales! Four to be exact, and we were up close and personal, along with numerous playful dolphins that were swimming alongside them. Even though I had a moment of panic where I thought that I may be Jonah-ed (refer to the book of Jonah), I realised that I had not been sent to Ninevah... More

Despite a false start (cancel due to weather) we did paddle the next day and it was fun. We saw dolphins albeit from a reasonable distance. It is a reasonably large group (25 people) but several guides who were very capable, flexible and able to manage kids and those couple of people who struggled with the paddling. It requires some... Ist time Kayaking and in the open sea, very tired as sea is rough, managed to reach destination. It was a waste that we miss the Dolphins but there is always other chance to come back to Kayaking in the open sea again. The company prepare hot drink & biscuits for all the people involved. Fall in to the sea... More
