The Back O' Bourke Exhibition Centre provides a wonderful insight into the lives and stories of Bourke and the Back Country of Australia. Enjoy the Exhibition Centre along with Bourke's other attractions such as the Jandra paddleboat, cruising the Darling river and the Back O' Bourke Outback Show, featuring Lachie Cosser and his band of merry animals! A must do experience. Great packages available. Now open!

This is a great museum with great history displays. Give yourself plenty of time so that you are not rushed and can listen to the audio displays on many great people.

We thought the price a bit steep after less than half for the Cobar one but it is a two day pass if you have the time to spend. It has a huge amount of information but not so many physical artefacts. It's well set...More

This is a really special explanation of the Bourke and Western Plains area and worth every cent of the entry price. Also take the walk through the gardens with the local trees and shrubs and discover how many different types of "Gum Trees" there are.

Group of 38 seniors strolled through the exhibition centre. This place was fantastic, interesting history lessons on the legends of the outback around the Bourke area. Great job by council

Modern centre and staff very confident with all advice including condition of roads less travelled. Huge parking area with plenty of room for big rigs. Booking for tours and attractions.

Nice place to stop and check out. Clean and well maintained exhibition. We baulked at the price but to be fair we didn't have 1 1/2 hrs spare to go through so can't blame the exhibit.

Back O Bourke can be combined with Jandra Paddle Boat cruise down the Darling. From Memory it's very reasonable. We bought a family pass, so maybe at the most $35. - $45 combined for a couple?
