A fantastic visit to a brewery going from strength to strength. Thoroughly worth a tour to see how the beers are brewed and stored, followed by a very generous tasting. Topped off with a delicious bite to eat. Definitely worth a visit and maybe combine with a visit to Eden project.

The only reason I have not rated this brewery tour as "excellent" was because we went on a Friday when you don't get to see them actually brewing as they clean everything then. However, this did have its compensations as it was quieter and Anne, our excellent guide, showed us a video presentation of the whole process which sounds dull... More

We have had some experience of brewery, winery and distillery visits and this was one of the best. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting, she was able to keep the attention of all of the group throughout the visit. We tasted several beers and looked in the shop but Tescos were cheaper this week....

We visited during our holiday to Cornwall one afternoon and had a great time here. All the staff were incredibly friendly, efficient and knowledgeable all the way from the reception/shop area, throughout the tour and in the bar area at the finish of the tour. Tours are only available on Fridays and have to be booked - they are pricey!. There is a shop and a pub attached. The shop prices were exorbitant and we didn't bother with the pub. Big disappointment.

Situated 5 minutes walk from the train station, the St Austell Brewery delivers a brilliant beer tour taking you around the making of tribute to korev. Overall the guide, Nick, was welcoming, funny and easy to listen to. The beer tasting offered us a number of tasters for every palette. We stayed and had a meal in the Hicks bar... More

Had a great visit here, discounted entry for using public transport! Easy to walk here from St Austell bus station, 5 mins although uphill. Much quicker walking back 3 mins! Our tour guide was Nick, he was excellent at explaining the history of the brewery and the production process. We sampled quite a few of the ales and were given... More

Very well designed visitor centre, shop and pub and well worth a visit. We watched the beer being bottled for ages and it was fascinating watching the empty bottles being filled and boxed up - this area is free as well and you can read all about the history of the company. The pub area is very well laid out... More
