The best part of our holiday. We did the Meet The Animals, which was AWESOME! I did it for my daughter, who loves animals, but I loved it myself. Have you ever stroked a fox - or kissed one? Definitely do this if you are anywhere near Portreath - but you need to pre-book.

Gary the ranger is really passionate about what he does and is a mine of information and has eyes like a hawk never missing a thing and seems to know every bird that flies over. He is patient and... Over two trips to Gwel an Mor resort we've taken part in most of the different activities at Feadon Farm Wildlife Centre and the one thing they all have in common is the amazing Gary Zammit who exudes enthusiasm and an amazing level of knowledge about British wildlife of all types. Second time we have booked experiences here. We all had a great time, Gary does a fab job. He is very enthusiastic and passionate about wildlife, and also very good at putting the kids at ease. We did the meet the animals experience, which my daughter loved as she's fox mad and even got a kiss from one of them!... More

Whilst staying at Gwel and Mor we booked the Meet the Animals experience and the Wildlife Experience mainly for our daughters aged 6 & 7, but in fairness me and my wife enjoyed it just as much. Much credit to Gary and his team who have an excellent facility with a variety of wildlife from Mice, Voles, Shrews, Guinea Pigs,... More
