    Lovely beach
Amazing beach especially on a sunny day . Good atmosphere, toilets , bar and food nearby . Great dogs are welcome and sensible that they are on leads ..We’d definitely come back …

    Honest review
As always honest review: This is an utterly beautiful beach. Very fine sand unlike the grit you would get in say - Skegness or northern beaches. The beach is clean, has a lovely pub called the watering hole situated directly on the beach. Surf lessons are available. Very safe beach too as there are plenty of lifeguards dotted along watching over. I think it would be better if there was a section for dogs (like Weymouth beach has) rather than them being along the whole beach. This is just because not every dog owner is responsible.

    Love Perranporth
Have been coming to Cornwall since I was 4.. I am 25 now. Went to trenance in newquay, Holywell bay and then Perranporth for most of the years, Perranporth is a lovely long and sandy beach with the beautiful cliffs for a stunning walk along the coastline. There is Alcatraz , the watering hole and Summerhouse restaurant all run by the same people and they are amazing , love Alcatraz for a coffee and one of their yummy toasties! The only thing I wish they would bring In is a ban on dogs in certain months, I came the week just gone and there were so many dogs, just too many and all pooping/weeing on the beach and no one picking the poop up which ruins the beach. You don’t want to put a towel down and there’s a crusty turd next to you! Tolcarne beach in newquay is lovely because it has certain months where dogs aren’t/are allowed and this keeps the beach nice and clean.

To many dogs on Perranporth Beach
Lovely beach, great cliff top walks, cant really find a fault, great beach. Down side To many dogs everywhere pooping peeing just really annoying, running wild of their leads, dog owners not even caring if they don’t pick up their dogs poo 💩the beach is now just a dogs toilet, the Perranporth council need to address this problem if they want people to keep holidaying in Perranporth. The Good Perranporth park is beautiful, well kept, lovely plants and shrubs, and with a nice boating lake, perranporth is lovely.

    Huge beach
With the tide out, this beach seems to go on forever! It’s actually 2 miles long and is a great place to blow away the cobwebs. We really enjoyed walking along the sands, watching the many dogs having a wonderful time and there were a few people flying kites as well as kite surfers and hang gliders around.

    Dog love the beach
We visited the beach as it's dog friendly and our dog loves the beach and to be able to run around. The tide was out when we visited so the beach was quite vast. No idea what it's like when the tide is in. The beach is clean, and the is a cafe on the beach so you can sit and enjoy a drink whilst people watching and watching our dog run around. Everyone we met was friendly and all the dogs we saw seemed to be having a great time.

    Wonderful dog friendly beach
A cracking dog friendly beach. Visited at low tide on Christmas Eve and even with plenty of people there we still had acres of space once we’d walked for ten minutes away from the car park. It was very busy by the time we left so you might need to get there early to get parked, or have a back up parking plan!

Sandy fun in the Perranporth sun
Perranporth is a stunning place. The beach is beautiful and we didn't want to leave. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind. The beach is picture perfect and it's a jewel in Cornwall's very impressive crown. The town is a delight and all the amenities are there. Nice pubs and cafes are dotted all around to cater for all. The beach is simply the cherry on the cake. Highly recommended

Beautiful beach, sandy with a few shells and stones to collect. When the tide is out there are lots of rock pools and caves to explore. Amazing for body boarding and surfing. Life guards and flag system.in place too. Highly recommend and will be visiting again for sure! We paid £20 at the Texaco garage for 2 whole nights camping and parking for our VW. No facilities but we are used to wild camping.

Wow..Amazing beach. Lots of tiny puddles foer kids to play. Dog friendly. Parking just 20 steps from the actual beach , cant remember how much for parking , but sure it was cheap compare to other parking spaces in Newquea for example. Carnwall icecream and cornish pastry shops very close to parking. Great time in september there was +23 and water + 18

If you're a dog lover this is the place for you. Must see: a bulldog grunt out a massiv-eturd in front of picnicking families on this gorgeous beach. If you can't be bothered to walk to the beach then your pooch can soil the sheltered lawn on the right before you get to the beach itself. Let your dogs off the leash and scare children or just let your precious fur baby squabble with all the other uncontrolled mutts.

Absolutely beautiful beach. Lifeguards were fab looking after everyone and ensuring people stayed safely within the flags. Clean and tidy well maintained and lots of places to eat and drink both on the beach or in the little town. Dog friendly too!!

Before the school holidays but still quite busy though spaces still available in the carparks at £5.50 for all day. When the tide is out there are vast expanses of sand, plenty of room for everyone but much more restricted as tide comes in [very quickly]. Good surf for surfing. Good life guard coverage. Between 9am and 4pm all dogs must be on a short lead and pretty well conformed to. Toilets available at car park. Dog icecream/yoghurt on sale.

Could be very over-crowded during school holidays but shallow sea ideal for toddlers.

A great beach, somewhat spoilt by very overpriced and overcrowded parking.

You can also park at the Haven, which is a bit cheaper (£5 ticket from reception) if you are ok getting down a steep hill. Be aware that this site is used by undesirable people, whose behavior is kept in line on the beach by zealous life guards.

We arrived early and got a carparking space in the carpark at the beach, 4hrs or 6hrs or less/more. We spent the 4hrs here.
Lifeguards actively patrolling and controlling. The waves were wild and very pleasing to see the lifeguards being so strict.
Great views and big beach. Shame it was over run with dogs and off leads.

Lovely beach but I have to leave a 1 star review due to the below and I urge the council to terminate their contract with ALLIANCE PARKING CORNWALL:

Kevin McManus, along with his team of crooks, is a cancer on society. They send fines out late and then deny people the option to pay the reduced fee. From reading all the other reviews it is clear that the employees of Alliance Parking have totally miserable lives. Karma is a strong force! They don’t even have the money to invest in a website, nor do they have any legitimate offices - one glance on Google shows the headquarters to be in a shabby, run down house in Cornwall! Absolute joke of a company. I bet Kevin is gutted that from October the tables will turn and he can’t charge people within the legal 10 minute grace period! Awww poor you guys, 80% of your revenue will disappear and you will need to get an actual job! I look forward to reading about your upcoming demise.

This beach was just stunning! We walked down the path and then saw the huge beach and amazing waves and it felt like we were abroad. It is huge, we pitched up to the right of the beach as seemed a little quieter as to the left is the restaurants and bars and toilets. The beach had lifeguards and flags watching which was reassuring with little children
