Me and my family come down to Perranporth annually and thoroughly enjoy ourselves. We've been down to Perranporth beach 12 years running now and have no intention to stop. The waves are great, the beach is clean, there's sand and no rocks to walk on. One of the best beaches I've ever been to.

Perranporth is a beautiful sandy beach with stunning views! There are a few large rocks and lots of rock pools/hidden areas to explore. It has something for all ages, whether it's paddling in the rock pools, swimming in the sea, taking a surf lesson, getting a drink at The Watering Hole, or just chilling on the beach. The sea is... Whenever we go down to Cornwall, we always visit Perranporth beach. We park at a council car park up the hill from the shops a bit and find the prices reasonable. It's then only a short walk down the hill, past the shops and the toilets and onto the beach. We find you have to do the obligatory side step... More

Parking at the top of the cliff is only £1 per hour and offers the thrill of the steep descent to the beach. The steps are part natural, part man made, and wholly exciting! The beach is pristine, with well guarded areas for swimmers and surfers. The Rock pools are too deep for my scardy-dog to swim in but plenty... More

Once you get parked, the beach is nice and sandy with rocks for the children to explore. Lovely blue water, good for the snorkelers.

Perranporth manages to retain that English seaside village feel without being over commercialised. Add to this miles of empty beaches to pitch up a windbreak, and the many caves dotted along the cliff to explore, you've got the making of a perfect day out. For those looking to learn bodyboarding or surfing, or just to hire out the kit, there's... More

A perfect beach for families and dog friendly so our pooch could enjoy it as well. We've had three lovely days just enjoying the waves, sand and rock pools created around chapel rock.

A wonderful, clean beach with plenty of room. Plenty of facilities on the beach making it a very easy and comfortable visit. There is a bar that serves good food right on the beach and also a surf school. Dogs are allowed too which was a bonus for us.
