It's a small museum however it has some very interesting history of Perranporth, with lots to read and learn. Apparently they change their stock every year so it's worth visiting annually.

A small museum set back from the main street. It is interesting if you want to know the history of Perranporth, lots of photos of the beaches from years gone by.

Well worth a visit if you want to know more of Perranporths history. Great photos of what the beach use to look like and the buildings on the coastal path.

As someone who has been going to Perranporth for over 50 years I thought I would take my youngest son to show him what perranporth was like when I was a young lad . It brought back great memories of my holidays with my family....More

It's a shame this isn't better advertised, it really should get many more visitors. Don't be put off by this or the library opening times on the main door - the museum is separate. It is free and accessible (stair lift), and fascinating - it...More

I've walked past this place for many years but with some rough weather I finally took the time to visit. The photographs are fascinating and the lady was very informative. It's hard to believe that this museum as many relies on local volunteers to keep...More

Popped in here on a dull day to take a look at the history of perranporth with the family. A lovely gentleman greeted us and explained a little more about the shipwrecks. Very interesting and even the youngsters found something to look at. Spent about...More

The official name for the museum according to its website is "Perranzabuloe Museum" but when I asked the guide on my coach tour of Cornwall, she said that Perranzabuloe was a different place from Perranporth entirely! I was sure I was right and found a...More

The small museum is above the library. It encompasses various aspects of the areas's past: tin mining nearby, the coming of the railway (sadly no longer) and development as a seaside resort, the association with motorsport and surfing. Well worth a visit, free but opening...More

A great local museum, established for many years. Packed with many interesting local artefacts, carefully collected over many years, thousands of excellent photographs showing the village from its start to recent times. No trip to Perranporth would be complete without a visit to this museum!
