A lovely hidden gem of a garden. Although I visited early in the season, the gardens were still full of interest. Wonderful glass house, huge trees, walled garden, winding paths, ponds. I will definitely be visiting again.

Limited opening times, but the rare plant sale on 3rd June was well worth a visit. Slightly irritating that the opening time was shown as 10.30 but when we arrived at 10.32 there were already over 100 cars parked & folk walking back with purchases...More

This is one of the best gardens in Cornwall. The selection of rare and exotic plants sitting happily with other species give this garden the Wow factor. Tom and his family continue to introduce new plants and make this a very interesting Plantsmans Garden.

Stunning gardens and beautiful planting especially at this time of the year as there was a riot of colour everywhere and most specimen trees were labelled I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Enjoyed nearly 3 hours here and marvelled at the specimen trees and amazing camellias. Labelling was almost non existent and trail difficult to follow. Far better than the Lost Gardens of Heligan, half the price and no coach parties!

Yes there is a cafe on site, but I don't think the gardens are open at Christmas. Normally May to October. Hope that helps.
