Garden is really good value, and not commercial but still really well set up. It has such a wide range of flowers and plants, with over 30 years of hard work and effort poured in to it. As you go through the garden it’s full...More

We visited this garden as part of a gardens of Cornwall organised by a local garden centre. It was our penultimate outing and, without naming the other well-known locations we visited, was undoubtedly the best. There is so much pretentious rubbish spouted at events such...More

This is a varied garden - part well manicured and part wild, centred around a lake. The leaflet was not all that helpful and there was limited interpretation available. The garden was colourful and there were a good variety of blooms.

The 3 acre garden started with an average of only 3 inches of top soil. And this was on top of a chalk base. Through hard work and artist vision, the owners have made this a lovely and charming garden. The paths lead to isolated...More

This was one of the most enjoyable garden visits our group had during our 20+ garden visit to southwest England. You must meet the owners, Judith and Harvey, in order to understand how they created this garden out of worse than nothing! As experienced travelers...More

Not the biggest of Cornish gardens, but one designed by a couple who have made this garden their life's work. All the garden features are present here and it is so calming despite the GWR trains thundering past! If you near Par, this garden is...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Marsh Villa Gardens. Having visited many of the famous big Cornish gardens it was lovely to come across a smaller garden which had so many interesting plants and was so beautifully maintained. One of the joys of visiting a...More
