Definitely the best way to visit Fowey. One tip, find the sailing times in advance if you can and get there early to ensure you`re not disappointed as trip bookings can sell out. Look out for seals and dolphins.

I took my two children on the ferry to Fowey from Mevagissey and we all enjoyed ditching the car and traveling on the water. It takes about 45mins and the crew are kind and helpful. We stopped momentarily to see a baby seal lying on...More

The trip across to Fowey is 30 minutes and worth the price. Arriving in the town by sea you get the best view of the town. The ferry crew are friendly and helpful.Even with poor weather the craft was fast and stable.

Took the ferry from Mevagissy to Fowey and back again. Took about 45 mins each way. Nice kind guys onboard who took care when the wind picked up and sprayed one side of the boat - they stopped and put the plastic side covers on....More

Dear Sir On the subject of bookings, we cannot offer that service for a very simple reason. If we could depict the weather forecast accurately upfront , we'd be the best weather forecast on the planet, and not driving a ferry. At certain wind conditions...More

Great value trip over to fowey. We went to hire a boat for the day and picnic. It's not just a ferry ride. If there are seals and dolphins they will try to stop for a few mins. We got the last trip back and...More

We took the ferry to Fowey and spent the day there. Interesting to see the coast line and the different boats out a sea. Then retuned.

If you ask the crew before getting on they,ll give you an honest answer whether its choppy or not. We dont wish for anyone to be sick, hence if its looking a little rough, we wont sail for the day.
