No longer open to the public
May 2015 • Friends
Even though we used GPS to find the garden, we had great difficulty travelling along very narrow lanes with no passing places ,taking at least 15 minutes from St Neot.
When we finally arrived, and the gate was closed. My husband entered and knocked on door of the house only to be told that the garden had been closed to the public for three years.

Peaceful and calm, worth a visit
The gardens are a ten minute drive from the picturesque village of St. Neot which, with its awesome 13th century temple, is worth a visit in itself too.
The gardens are not easy to find so you better use GPS or a good map.
The garden itself consists of several smaller and larger ponds with little creeks flowing from one to another and planted with a wide variety of different plants and flowers both on the banks and in the water. Some of them are deeper and are stocked with some goldfish and carps. There is a well kept pathway around the garden with benches to sit and relax.
Although the gardens were built only 3-4 years ago they are very natural and look like they are a lot older and well kept ever since. It is worth to check out some photos in the gallery showing how the gardens looked like only a few years ago...
When we visited in July 2009 with my wife we were the only visitors.
After relaxing in the garden its is nice to have a chat with Mackenzie, the creator and artist and see his paintings.
In nice weather its a good relaxing 1-2 hour attraction. Entrance fees were around 3£ for an adult.
Check their webpage for directions.
