Interesting cavern. ..but very little else. Very helpful lady who gave us a talk regarding the attraction. Don't expect to be there for more than an hour or two.

Definitely worth making the time to see. Cool underground caverns (don't worry if you're claustrophobic - I am, it's like a cathedral underground, no confined spaces). Plus their woodland trail is magical for small kids, albeit a bit of a hike. Gift shops are full of random stuff but kids will be happy.

Enjoyed the visit not to much to see and was not there long , the slate cave and the under ground lake was great when lit up, not too many steps for the older person.

A little gem. Not overly expensive, the lady manning the ticket booth was very friendly and informative. The caverns were much larger than expected and the woodland walk was enjoyed by all.

We wanted somewhere different to visit on our holidays and chose these caverns. The owners are very knowledgeable and obviously love the place. Walking shoes or boots are recommended for the caves and the woodland walk. The caves are small but magical, with a couple of little tableaux and an illuminated lake. the woodland walk has fairies and a dragon... More

We visited the caverns and was disappointed. It would have been nice to have had points around the inside where you can listen to what happened in that particular area recordings at the push of a button instead of having to read it out to everyone. It just didn't seem to hold anyone's interest as there were only a few... More

This is a lovely & really interesting place to visit & very reasonably priced. The caves are not extensive but really 'caverous' with lots of information sheets with witty comments by the owners. Try to get to the lake when it has no lights on-it is stunning when you turn the lights on. The garden is charming & the short... More

this is an interesting and enjoyable attraction, very atmospheric. Make sure you wear sensible shoes and bring a jumper! We were not sure what to do on a wet day and happened across this place, very glad we did!
