Overview
More
A moderate 3.7 mile South West Coast Path walk between two coves where people have been sheltering from the wild westerlies since Stone Age times. On a clear day you can see right along the South Cornish coastline from Turbot Point - a headland also known as Bodrugan's Leap after the local landlord was forced to leap from the cliffs into a waiting boat to escape to France!

We have done this walk from Hemmick Beach to Mevagissey on several occasions. The views are stunning and it makes you realise what a beautiful country we have. Good for wildlife, particularly birds. [I saw a Yellowhammer last year]. Always good to stop off at...More

Starting at The Rising Sun inn at Portmellon Cove, the path runs south-east towards Chapel Point with great views over Mevagissey Bay. It then turns south-wet hugging the cliff to, and eventually runs down to Gorran Haven Harbour. A great walk with lots of bird...More

Easy 7 mile round walk to mevagissey and back with great views to the sea. The small bays good for sea life, spent time watching the seals

We used to do this a lot pre kids. Either in the Gorran Haven to Mevagissey and back guise or making it circular by walking Gorran Haven up to Gorran (past the Church), down through Cotna to Portmellon, and back via the coast (with or...More

We walked a short part of this path form Gorran Haven to Mevagissey. It's a gorgeous path, but was a bit slippy undersoot and the one thing I'd say in warning about Cornwall's coastal paths is there is lots of up and down. If you...More

The hike from Portmellon to Gorran Haven is gorgeous. There's some up-and-down but that makes for beautiful bluff views out over the ocean. In Gorran Haven there's "The Haven" which makes a great destination for lunch with their wonderful fish n chips. We were going...More

This is a relatively easy walk around the cliff tops, great views especially on a sunny day. There is all day parking in gorran haven for £3 and you can easily do a round walk to mevagissey and back or the other way to dodmans.
