The cross is a photo opportunity. And the walk from Gorran or Hemmick requires you to take a breather anyway! Fab views. Look out for the ponies, and swim from Hemmick beach.

Nice walk around the point. Hemmick beach is quite beautiful and remote, hardly anyone on it even in August on a warm day. Be warned, however, that the road down to the beach is the narrowest you will find anywhere with no passing places. Be...More

We parked at the NT car park at Penare which is down a very narrow road but is very quiet with quite a few passing places. The walk is well signposted and the views are spectacular! Would definitely recommend an hour well spent.

Walked off lunch at Mevagissy, with friends and dog at Dodman Point. Beautiful views all along the coast; walking relatively easy and not too vertiginous for those who don't like heights. Would recommend this on a dry sunny day.

Nice place to wander and admire the Cornish views. It’s a bit steep in places but average in difficulty. At Dodman point there is a monument for what I don’t know but makes a great pic. Worth a stop if you fancy a walk and...More
